You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- ROSA IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Rosa is a mature adult Rotteweiler who may be 7-9 years old and weighs about 90 pounds. Even though Rosa was missing some hair and hasn't been taken the best care of, someone taught her how to sit and shake hands. She's a sensitive girl who was been upset by losing her family and is comforted by the presense of her foster mom. She would even happier in her very own home with a new family!Rosa is a strong girl who will need a physically capable adopter as she can pull pretty hard on leash. She has been reactive to other dogs and cats in her foster home so being an only child will set her up to be the most successful! We know there are so many great people out there how love rotties! We just need to find one that will give Rosa the happy ending we want for her!A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Rosa, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs!Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. Story
Meet HollyHolly is a 3-year-old Rottweiler with a fun, energetic personality and a love for playtime! This girl is always ready to go, whether it’s chasing a ball or enjoying time outside—fetch is one of her favorite games. Holly is a good dog with a lot of potential, but she will benefit from continued basic training to help her channel her energy in the right direction. She can get a little mouthy during play, which is typical for a playful, high-energy dog, so she would do best in a home without small children. With structure, consistency, and an active owner, Holly is going to make a loyal and entertaining companion. She’s looking for someone who can match her energy and help her become the best version of herself. If you’re ready for a playful, spirited girl who just needs a little guidance, Holly is waiting to meet you.Approx 71 lbs.

Family conflicts made it difficult for her to receive the best care. She hasn't really been socialized to the outside world, so is in need of a special person to help her navigate life and love her and make her the best dog she can be.  Zodi is overweight due to lack of exercise so she will need a diet and exercise plan in her new home. We recommend the adopter be familiar with the breed and able to continue to work with Zodi on socialization and training. Zodi is not good with cats or children, and we are not sure how she is with other dogs as it's been a while since she has been around them.  Since Zodi has been with the same person for most of her life, she is understandably a little protective of that person.  She also can be protective of her food so care should be taken. Zodi is housebroken; will need to be brought up to date on vaccinations and spayed, and skin and ear issues taken care of.    Zodi could be a great dog if given a chance. She has been abandoned by the person who promised  would train her and take care of her. The person who purchased her from the breeder has abandoned her in the care of a family member who is no longer able to care for Zodi due to their own health concerns.  Zodi is being house currently in Hanover PA.If you are interested in adopting Zodi and giving her a great life, please contact:Judy   Judyc6625@gmail.com  or fill out an application at www.reachoutrescue.org   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 5, 2026, 1:27 am

Story
If you are looking for a young, frisky pup who loves to play, Roady would be your new best friend. He could be part boxer or boxweiler with his furrowed brow but leans in like a lab, part heeler perhaps? Whatever the mix, Roady does love the car, travels politely, and would thrive with a daily dog park visit. He has a lot of stamina, runs fast, and enjoys chasing balls. He might do really well with agility training. Roady loves his meals and is working on "sit" to wait for them. He is a bit shy on occasion and it will take time for "come" to be second nature. Roady can get distracted outside as all his senses seem to be on alert. He has especially keen hearing and long distance vision, but does not bark often. He is a gentleman in the house as he is totally housebroken! Roady is still young and learning, loving a chew toy of any kind, especially plastic, so he will need heavy monitoring in a new environment for a bit. He takes calm and firm verbal correction well and is learning "off" and "leave it" commands. Having said that, Roady crates easily and enjoys being in and out of bed during the day on his own. He has done well being confined when adults are out for a couple of hours. Roady gets along well with other medium-sized dogs and follows after his foster brother on walks and visits in the yard. He is a great follower and would love another dog or playmate at home. He does very well on leash. If you are looking for a manageable optimistic, playful dog who can content himself without fuss, Roady will make a wonderful companion for the lucky family that chooses him.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
