Story
Dany is a loving year and half old rottie. She is a sweet, eager and energetic cuddle bug in need of an experienced home. Dany loves to cuddle and gives the biggest hugs. We got her a few weeks before finding out we were having our son. Since having him, we have been having a hard time keeping up with her training and she is in need of a home that can do that. We love her to pieces but she does have a lot of energy, and is still working on her leash manners and interacting politely with her fellow canines that she does not know. She currently lives with a corgi and a cat, and she is friends with both (though she does chase the cat, so unsure how other cats would react to that). We have an 8 year old part time that she loves and she is also good with our 10 month old son. She is a little bouncy, but has been good with kids, might do better with older ones who can roughhouse with her. She deserves a family who can help her become the best version of herself, because she is a sweetheart.

She is working on basic verbal and visual commands too! This sweet girl is around 3 years old. She is a Rottie mix. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. Story
My name is Darcy and I am a young, 2 year old, 85 pound Rottweiler girl that is looking for a home where I can be the Queen and the only dog in my domain.  You see I love cats but I was the only dog for a while and then here comes this other dog when my adoptive momma’s daughter moved home with her dog.  I just felt like I should be asked about that, but I wasn’t.  I am a little territorial with other dogs about my place and space.  If you know my breed traits and all the great positives about a Rottweiler, then you know I will be a fabulous family companion.   I am the total package with all the great house manners, housebroken, I don’t chew and I am a really calm and beautiful Rottie girl.  My momma is heartbroken to find me another home, but it just has to happen. I am a great friend to children too.   IF you know the Rottie breed then you will see that I am a great catch!   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 11, 2024, 9:33 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- ROSA IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Rosa is a mature adult Rotteweiler who may be 7-9 years old and weighs about 90 pounds. Even though Rosa was missing some hair and hasn't been taken the best care of, someone taught her how to sit and shake hands. She's a sensitive girl who was been upset by losing her family and is comforted by the presense of her foster mom. She would even happier in her very own home with a new family!Rosa is a strong girl who will need a physically capable adopter as she can pull pretty hard on leash. She has been reactive to other dogs and cats in her foster home so being an only child will set her up to be the most successful! We know there are so many great people out there how love rotties! We just need to find one that will give Rosa the happy ending we want for her!A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Rosa, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs!Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
