Currently my Mother’s baby boy but due to some last minute issues we are having placement issues for Brownie. At first we sought family members to care for him just to make sure he is well taken care of but haven’t been fortunate to find him a home close. To describe him he is sweet, loving boy and energetic. He does need some house training but food driven so he’s highly trainable. He does do well with other dogs that want to play and he is a cuddle bug. My wife and I would take him but we have an extremely male dominant cane corso who does not react well to his playful personality. Our hearts are sadden to even have to find him a home this way and wish we could find him a loving home that every dog deserves!

My story Here's what the humans have to say about me: Meet Jewel! Jewel was in a small rural shelter in La Joya, Texas on the border of Mexico. She was picked up as a stray with her 5 cute little happy puppies. We think she is a boxer/terrier mix, 50lbs and around 3 years old. She has beautiful eyes that look through your soul. And her underbite smile is everything! Jewel is a jewel! A true gem. She is super friendly, happy, loving and wonderful! She has never met a stranger and gets along great with other dogs. She has a playful side, but she isn't overboard, and loves loves loves being with people. Our van was totally full on our last trip to the border, but we just could not leave her and her puppies behind, after her heart felt yodel in the kennel. Must watch her video. She is a great dog, with a wonderful happy future full of love and fun to give to the right family.
