Story
Cherrie is a beautiful, shy, playful girl who is a sweetheart once she warms up to you. She's loyal to her family and hide when others come over. she loves treats and will crawl into your lap for a Churo stick! she loves to sleep in bed in her bed and snuggle with her sister, Coco. They are a sweet bonded pair that we want to be adopted together.. She loves looking out the window and napping in the sunshine. I love her beautiful soft grey coat with just a touch of white on her neck. Her perfect home would be a quiet one, probably not small children but lots of human love and attention. If you would like to meet Cherrie please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our application, click on this link: https://fs20.formsite.com/SouthernCountiesRescue/Application/index.html Personality traits Friendly, Affectionate, Gentle, Playful, Curious, Funny and loving

Story
Rufus is a playful, energetic young fellow with a sweet, gentle side. He loves to chase a streamer toy or dive into a tunnel with complete abandon but then settles in with you for nudges and pets. Rufus has proven to be adaptable as well, currently sharing his foster space with two other kitties of different ages and occasional visits with a cat-friendly large dog. Rufus is a such a beautiful and sweet boy. Please come see Rufus and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by appointment and on Saturdays from 1-3pm. You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/ When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been: - Spayed or neutered - Microchipped - Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) - Tested for FIV (Feline Aids) - De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage) - De-wormed (tape and round worms) - Given their first FVRCP vaccination: We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series. - Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.

Story
Paolo is such a cool and sweet kitty. He greets everyone who enters the room and looks like he is saying, "What's up, human?" Paolo is friendly, affectionate, and wants to spend a lot of time with his favorite people. Paolo was returned to the rescue after his owner had to go to a retirement home. He gets along well with the other kitties here, but would benefit from a loving forever home to live out his days in peace and happiness. Paolo has been diagnosed with diabetes, but it has being treated and he is otherwise healthy and leading a normal life.  For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org Paolo is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that takes in stray cats and abandoned animals and helps rehabilitate them for life in forever homes. To donate to help cats like Paolo, use our PayPal link: www.PayPal.Me/CommunityAnimal Or Mail checks to: Community Animal Network P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA 92658 The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of the animals, vitamins, proper diet and veterinary medical care. Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a one hour "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate. The AVID microchip registration is included in the placement fee and the animals come with a 30 day heath commitment and return policy.        October 29, 2024, 7:02 am

Story
Taz is being adopted through the San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates. If you are interested in adopting Taz, please submit an adoption application at http://www.sgvaa.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Your adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all their health and medical needs. Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. We can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) PetSmart. SGVAA is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization serving the San Gabriel Valley area. For more information on how you can help your community, please visit: www.sgvaa.org Their Adoption Process If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets or have additional questions, please fill out an adoption application and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes.
