Story
Taz is being adopted through the San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates. If you are interested in adopting Taz, please submit an adoption application at http://www.sgvaa.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Your adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all their health and medical needs. Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. We can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) PetSmart. SGVAA is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization serving the San Gabriel Valley area. For more information on how you can help your community, please visit: www.sgvaa.org Their Adoption Process If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets or have additional questions, please fill out an adoption application and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. For interested adopters, we can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) Petsmart. We also post pictures of our adorable kitties at sgvaa.org, our Facebook page and on Instagram!

Story
We’ve been fostering Gary since he was about 3 months old. He was feral and got into my office and wouldn’t leave. He is still wary of human touch but likes to sit near people and loves to play with toys. He’s very playful. He is friendly towards our other cats and dog but the other animals have never tolerated him. He is neutered and vaccinated. We want to find Gary a good forever home. I think with more one on one attention he would learn to love human touch and he would probably do best in a house without kids.

Story
I took Pluto in at 3 weeks in March 2020 from being abandoned in a garage with his brothers and sisters. He's a different vat and has been inside since then. He was a "pandemic baby" so social interactions don't come easy. He is very loving and also selective about who he interacts with. We lived in a previous apartment with an older female cat and a female dog. About a year ago he got sick and had a urethra obstruction and was put on a special diet to help after surgery. I hope he goes to a loving home that has more time for him than I do.

Story
Paolo is such a cool and sweet kitty. He greets everyone who enters the room and looks like he is saying, "What's up, human?" Paolo is friendly, affectionate, and wants to spend a lot of time with his favorite people. Paolo was returned to the rescue after his owner had to go to a retirement home. He gets along well with the other kitties here, but would benefit from a loving forever home to live out his days in peace and happiness. Paolo has been diagnosed with diabetes, but it has being treated and he is otherwise healthy and leading a normal life.  For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org Paolo is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that takes in stray cats and abandoned animals and helps rehabilitate them for life in forever homes. To donate to help cats like Paolo, use our PayPal link: www.PayPal.Me/CommunityAnimal Or Mail checks to: Community Animal Network P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA 92658 The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of the animals, vitamins, proper diet and veterinary medical care. Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a one hour "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate. The AVID microchip registration is included in the placement fee and the animals come with a 30 day heath commitment and return policy.        August 14, 2023, 12:02 am

Story
Quigley is a very active and sweet 7 month old male kitten. I adopted him when he was 4 months old as a companion for my older cat Felix whose brother had recently died. Quigley is super high energy and really wants to play with Felix, but Felix would rather just chill and gets very angry with Quigley and then fights him. At this point, I think both cats would be better off if Quigley were to find a better home. The perfect home for Quigley would be one where he has plenty of space to run (he constantly has the zoomies!), lots of interactive toys, and someone to cuddle with and give him lots of kisses once he tires himself out. I think he would like to have another young, high energy cat to play and wrestle with but that is not a must. He is well trained to use the litter box, is neutered, indoor only, with no health issues. He is currently 8 pounds and still has a fair amount of growing to do.

Story
I'm a gorgeous Russian Blue, very connected to my littermate, Irish (Tortie). We we were rescued in a backyard by a kind soul. We have been in long term foster care and we would be thrilled to finally have a permanent home with humans who love us. We would be best with no kids under 10 and no dogs. Irish and I appreciate calm environments and love to watch birds. We are spayed, combo tested negative, microchipped and vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP. Visit us in the Adoption Center at Brea PetSmart, whenever a volunteer is present.

Story
I'm an energetic, lovable, Russian Blue mix! I love to play with my sister, Emma (brown tabby) and the small dog I live with. I'm bonded with Emma and we need to be adopted together! We spend most of our time together having fun, using toys,, running, jumping, napping and cuddling. We love checking out the view from the windows and doors. We go outside with our leashes and harnesses to spend time in the garden. I love watching TV. Emma and I are trained to come to a feather and bell toy. We like canned, Fancy Feast and Temptations treats. We have been well loved and cared, but are current owners are not able to keep us and we need a new home. We have been spayed, tested, for FIV-FELV, vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies and we will be microchipped soon. Please email catsintow@gmail.com, if interested in meeting/adopting us.
