Friendly, Playful, Curious Flower Power is one groovy cat - she plays fetch! Toss a crinkle pom pom toy and she will retrieve it and then confidently prance back to drop it into your lap so you can throw it again. Which you will. And as she scrambles after it, she narrates with an excited chirp - extra cuteness! She will also carry around a spring toy and take it somewhere to bat around on the hardwood floor. She especially loves interactive play with her people, and will dash around and jump for the wand toy until she's panting! We haven’t seen her around kids but suspect with her friendly and spunky personality, she would love a gentle kid. We think Flower Power would do well - and would love! - a home with multiple people who will give her lots of attention and play-time. She'd also probably be over-the-moon to have a feline buddy to run around with and snuggle with! She is in a foster home with her brothers and they wrestle and cuddle, plus she gets along well with the calm resident adult cat, and she allows him to groom her while they nestle and nuzzle together! Flower Power prefers to be in the room with you and is curious about everything you do! Sometimes she will snuggle in your lap - she likes being held! - or gently paw you to ask for love and pets. When you vacuum, she will follow you around and bat at it! She is hilarious! She and her brothers came to APA! with bad colds and eye infections. Although she has recovered, she still has the sneezes and needs her eyes and nose wiped frequently. Due to the severity of her initial cold, she is susceptible to future flare-ups that may require additional medical treatment. Despite this, she's as playful as ever and has never let it hold her back! Flower Power is a gorgeous girl with a solid blue coat. She is full of spirit and love and goodness and happiness! Say howdy to the newest member of our shelter, Nuclear Hippo! We don't know much about this little cowgirl yet, but we can already tell she will bring lots of happiness to her new family.. Outgoing, Affectionate, Silly! Grippy Socks is a friendly, sweet, cuddly, and happy lady who is an amazing companion and lover of humans! She adores being around you and wants pets all the time. She will shadow you to let you know how much you are loved, and she will instantly purr when you interact with her - especially when she gets those snuggles she loves! She will even kiss your face to show her adoration - so cute! Grippy is content to play with toys but only if you are around - she's an entertainer at heart! She will play fetch like a dog, and catching your hands under the blanket brings her joy! She's generally quiet unless it's chow time or if you are not giving enough attention to this silly soul. Grippy came to APA! with a previous tail injury, which gave her weak and partially paralyzed back legs. She has been doing physical therapy to strengthen her back legs, and while she cannot always use them, she has adapted and gets around! She will "show off" by kicking her back legs when you hold her - she is a warrior. The tail injury also gave her incontinence, so she need you to "manually express" her bladder (gently press on it) a few times a day to help her go pee. She also eats a wet food diet for optimum urinary health. Learning to express her bladder is pretty straightforward, and APA! will show you how and make sure you are comfortable with it. Caring for an incontinent cat is easier than you may think. Want proof? Her ideal home is with people to cuddle with and share kitty kisses with, and who can maintain her diet and manual expression schedule. She would also like to continue getting her back legs stronger!
