APA!'s newest bundle of joy is Xcuse Me! This tiny explorer has mapped every corner of his kennel and is ready for new adventures. We’re still working on discovering what toys and treats will win Xcuse Me’s heart, so check back soon to find out more! For more information or to meet Xcuse Me, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org. Xcuse Me has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Xcuse Me can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Xcuse Me’s care. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
