Meet Brandon ❤️ He is a sweet, loving 25-lb Mini Goldendoodle looking for a very special forever home. Brandon was rescued from a shelter and came to me with many fears. With lots of love, patience and consistency, he has overcome so much and has become an incredibly affectionate companion. He is still very skittish and especially fearful of men. His fear can sometimes cause reactive/aggressive behavior, although he tends to feel much more comfortable around men who are gentle, soft-spoken and have a calm, non-intimidating presence. I love Brandon very much, and this decision is incredibly difficult. My biggest priority is finding him a safe, experienced home with someone who understands fearful/reactive dogs and can give him unlimited love, patience and stability. He deserves someone who will continue building his confidence and love him for the wonderful little dog he is. ❤️

       Meet PERIDOT Peridot is an approximately 7-year-old, 12-pound mixed breed girl—possibly a Dachshund/Poodle mix—who is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and free of parasites. She also happens to be one of those dogs who makes it very easy to fall in love. Peridot is sweet, affectionate, easygoing, and happiest when she is close to her person. Her tail seems to have only one setting: wagging. Mornings are her favorite because that means she gets to see her people again, and she greets them with the happiest little wiggles. She is potty trained, crate trained, and a very fast learner. She sleeps peacefully through the night and has shown no food aggression. She gets along well with other dogs, but given the choice, Peridot would probably rather be curled up next to her human on the couch watching TV. Her special medical need is that she has several mammary masses. Early testing suggests that they are benign cystic lesions, which is encouraging. She is already scheduled to have them surgically removed in the coming weeks, with biopsy performed if indicated. We will continue to provide the medical care she needs throughout that process. And Peridot? She is completely unconcerned with all of that. She is busy being happy. Busy wagging. Busy snuggling. Busy reminding everyone around her that senior-ish dogs still have an enormous amount of love and life left to give. Peridot would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a devoted little companion who enjoys a predictable routine, gets along with other dogs, has excellent house manners, and thinks the best seat in the house is the one directly beside you. She is ready for a forever person who will appreciate her endlessly happy tail, gentle personality, and very serious commitment to being your couch companion.      Two year old neutered male poodle mixMeet Little Wolf, a handsome 2-year-old, 18-pound boy who is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, free of parasites, and very ready to find his person. Little Wolf is sweet, playful, active, and absolutely loves other dogs. He enjoys his walks, does well in the car and crate, and once he decides you are safe, he is incredibly affectionate. He is also still a work in progress. When Little Wolf first came into foster care, he was severely matted, nervous, and protective. We do not know much about his life before rescue, but it is clear he did not receive the grooming, structure, or training he needed. Since then, he has made meaningful progress and continues to become more confident. Little Wolf tends to warm up more quickly to women and may need a little extra time and patience with men. He is not looking for someone who expects instant perfection. He needs someone who understands that trust is built through consistency, routine, and positive experiences. One thing Little Wolf has very strong feelings about? Other dogs are AWESOME. He loves to play and would be a fantastic companion for another playful dog. He may be too enthusiastic for a dog who values personal space, but he could also do well as an only dog as long as his person is able to give him plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. His feelings about cats are still somewhat unknown. We think he may be able to live with a confident, dog-savvy cat, but careful introductions and the right feline personality would be important. Little Wolf also LOVES his walks. His foster home typically takes him out twice a day for walks of a little over a mile, and he is happiest when he has an opportunity to get outside, explore, and burn off some energy. He travels well, rides nicely in the car, and is comfortable in a crate, making him a pretty easy companion for adventures. House training is still a work in progress, but he is improving. He enjoys marking and exploring outside, so frequent potty breaks and a consistent routine will help. He is also perfectly comfortable wearing a belly band while he continues working on his manners. Because Little Wolf can become nippy when frightened or overwhelmed, we are looking for a home without young children. A calmer household where people can respect his boundaries and allow him to decompress will set him up for success. And there is a LOT to love about this guy: • Young and healthy• Handsome and freshly groomed• Loves other dogs• Great walking companion• Crate trained• Good in the car• Playful and active• Very affectionate once he trusts you• Making steady progress with confidence and house training Little Wolf does not need someone to “fix” him.
