Story
Oreo is a 7-week-old Schnauzer and Poodle mix puppy who is currently transitioning from weaning into a regular daily routine. At less than two months old, Oreo's personality is just beginning to surface through standard puppy milestones. Oreo spends the day in short, active bursts followed by deep naps. Daily activities consist of exploring nearby objects, learning to chew on appropriate toys, and following people around the room. Because of Oreo's young age, house-training has not begun, and the puppy relies entirely on a pen or designated indoor area for potty training on pads. When picked up, Oreo settles down relatively quickly after initial squirming and shows a natural curiosity toward household noises like the TV or vacuum. Oreo is at a critical developmental stage where every experience shapes future behavior. The puppy is responsive to soft handling, shows no hesitation when meeting new people, and is small enough to be easily managed during early socialization. The ideal home for Oreo is one with the time to commit to the intensive schedule of a young puppy, including feeding multiple times a day and setting up a consistent house-training routine. Oreo will do well in an environment where someone is home frequently to supervise training and socialization. Oreo is a typical young puppy ready to start basic training from scratch in a structured home.

Rescue Story Damdam's previous owner, an elderly lady, was severely injured and could no longer care for her. She was surrendered to the shelter, where she waited for a new family. Heartbroken by her story, ADOGS stepped in and rescued Damdam to help her find a fresh start and a loving forever home. 3. Personality & Characteristics - Interaction with Humans: She is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. Once she gets close to you, she will approach you first to ask for pets. - Interaction with Dogs: She got along well and peacefully with her friends at the shelter. Instead of playing actively, she prefers to sit on a cushion and rest quietly. - Interaction with Cats: She has not encountered any cats yet. - Separation Anxiety: Since she has recently moved to a foster home and is still adapting, it is too early to accurately assess. - Potty Training: She used pee pads while staying at the shelter. However, she may need some retraining once her environment changes. - Grooming & Hygiene: She behaves very well during grooming sessions. - Leash Walking: She has no prior experience with walks yet. - Motion Sickness: She shows no signs of car sickness. - Biting/Aggression: She feels uncomfortable being picked up, but she has never shown any biting tendencies. She also feels a bit overwhelmed when a human's face gets too close to hers. - Barking: She did not show any barking or whining behavior at the shelter. - Likes: Treats and snacks! - Dislikes: She feels uncomfortable with deep physical contact, such as being held tightly or having someone approach her too suddenly. - Personality: Damdam is calm and quiet. She shows a brighter, happier side once she becomes close to you, so it is best to build a relationship with her slowly and patiently.

Story
OTTO: Schnoodle Mix | Neutered Male | 2.5 Years Old | 19 lbs OTTO is a gentle, shy soul with a tender heart that is slowly learning to trust again. While he may be a little reserved at first, he shows no signs of aggression or anxiety—just a quiet hope for kindness and love. With patience and reassurance, Otto blossoms into a sweet companion who enjoys cuddles, gentle affection, and being close to his person. He gets along well with other dogs, sleeps comfortably in a crate, and even enjoys car rides. He would do best in a calm loving home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. OTTO past was not an easy one. He and three other dogs were rescued from a breeding situation where they were kept in heartbreaking conditions and treated as a source of profit rather than as living beings deserving of care. Otto spent much of his life confined to a cage. Thanks to a dedicated rescuer, he was finally brought to safety and given a second chance. Now, Otto is on a journey of healing. With love, patience, and a gentle environment, he will continue to grow into a happy, trusting, and devoted companion. He has so much love to give—he just needs someone willing to show him that the world can be kind. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home. Adopt a rescue dog today; we are their voice!
