Prince Lionel is the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home just by being in it. This sweet senior poodle mix was surrendered to the South LA Animal Shelter when his former family felt they could no longer care for his age and medical needs. Despite all of that, Prince Lionel didn’t lose his gentle spirit. In foster care, he’s shown himself to be relaxed, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to live with.He’s house-trained, has full roam of the home when left alone, and is perfectly content to nap and hang out until you’re back. When you are home, he loves being near his person—following you from room to room, quietly settling at your feet, or soaking up gentle pets. He’s friendly with familiar people and new faces alike, greeting everyone with soft eyes and a wagging tail. Walks are one of his favorite parts of the day. He’s excellent on leash—no pulling, just happy sniffing and a steady pace, always checking in with whoever’s holding the other end of the leash. His energy level is that ideal “middle ground”: he enjoys his outings and a bit of play, then is ready to curl up and relax. Like many seniors, Prince Lionel has some medical needs: he has significant dental disease and ocular disease with possible blindness in his right eye. He handles it all with quiet dignity and a trusting heart. Prince Lionel’s ideal home is one that values companionship and a calm, steady presence. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving senior who will be your loyal shadow and daily comfort, this little prince is ready to devote his golden years to you. Adoption Fee: $350

Meet Schnoodle Macy, she’s about 3 years old now. Spayed and fully vetted. She was adopted last year and was listed to ideally be an only dog. She went to a home with a calm male she liked to play with. But then they went and got a puppy which Macy was sure not to like for long, so they returned her to us when that became the case. We are back to looking for the right home. She definitely takes to women faster, but she loves the male staff here too - just takes a few days to show them her cute side. We would prefer she is an only child. No cats. Macy is very affectionate and cuddly and will be someone’s sidekick through thick and thin when we find the right person for her 🙏🏼🐾 $100-Adoption fee If interested, come by the ranch any day 8-6

OTTO: Schnoodle Mix / Neutered Male / 1 Year / 16 lbs HOUSE-TRAINED, INTELLIGENT, PLAYFUL, LIVELY, INDEPENDENT! Otto is a gentle, calm, and shy young boy with a sweet soul. He doesn’t bark much, is not destructive, and gets along very well with other dogs. He sleeps comfortably in a crate and is learning to walk on a leash quickly and confidently. Otto enjoys car rides and loves quietly watching the scenery from the window. He also shares his bed with other dogs without any issues. At first, Otto can be a bit timid, but once he’s hugged and petted, his personality begins to shine. As he gains trust, he becomes relaxed, happy, and affectionate, showing just how loving he truly is. Otto is now ready for a patient, loving home where he can continue to build confidence and feel safe forever. We are attaching a picture of how he looked when he was first rescued. Come see him!
