Jill came to ACCT Philly after she and another dog, Jack, were found running loose in the street. Thankfully, a caring community member was able to get both dogs to safety, and both dogs soon made their way into the care of ACCT Philly. Jill is now available for adoption at Doggie Style Pets in Bala Cynwyd and ready to meet her forever family! Jill is a social butterfly with a heart of gold. She's got the face and wrinkles of a shar pei and is on the smaller end at around 30lbs. She's highly people-oriented and shows her love freely with tail wags, gentle nudges, and an easygoing attitude. Jill walks well on leash, is tolerant of all body handling, and greets the world with soft eyes and a calm presence. In her interactions with other dogs, she’s shown polite curiosity—sniffing and then choosing to move on if she’s unsure. She’s a well-rounded, friendly pup who's easy to handle and eager to connect. Tolerant of all body handling Play: did not do Dog Interaction: Met two dogs thru a fence, sniffed, moved away. Head low, tall down Found running with Jack Return to Kennel: Easy Color Level: gold Recommendations and considerations: lovely pup! 12/17/2025 1217/2025 7:14pm caller states that these dogs were running loose ever since in the morning, upon location seen the one dog loose in the street, removed this one and git the other dog in a lot. the otherbone is the female --- **This animal is currently located at Doggie Style Pets. Barkley is an approximately 1.5 year old Shar Pei mix. He is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccines and testing! Barkley LOVES to play with other dogs! We believe he would do well in a home with a dog buddy to play with! His foster mom describes his temperament as good natured, he is high energy, and can be anxious. He is crate trained, smart and eager to please. Barkley is a special puppy who cannot wait to land in someone’s heart for good! RockyDude came to Faithful Friends Animal Society in August 2024 after an incredible team of rescuers worked together to bring him to safety. Our friends at ACCT Philly were overwhelmed with dogs, but they knew RockyDude was special and fought to give him a second chance. He was even held past his “timestamp” until he could safely make the trip to Delaware — just as the state lifted the ban on out-of-state transports. Talk about perfect timing! Since arriving, RockyDude has been a staff favorite. He’s smart, affectionate, and full of playful energy. He’s great with both dogs and cats. He knows “sit” and “down,” and he’ll happily trade his toys for treats. He’s obsessed with tennis balls and squeaky toys — they’re his absolute favorites! While he’s grateful to be safe, RockyDude’s biggest wish is to finally go home. He’s been waiting since August '24, hoping the family who’s meant for him will walk through our doors and make his happily ever after come true. Could that be you?
