She likes car rides and plenty of walks- although a fenced yard would be ideal. She needs to be the only pet. Experience with the shar-pei breed is highly recommended. She is located in a foster home in northeastern VT. Molly is housetrained, UTD on vaccines and is scheduled to be spayed on 11/20. Meet Blitz! Blitz is a 6-year-old, 55 pound working dog. He's smart, food driven, and loves playing fetch. He sleeps through the night in his crate, is house trained, loves learning new tricks, and can be good with other dogs if they allow him to calmly greet them. Blitz would do best in an adult only home, with an owner who is active. He loves going on walks, runs, hikes and car rides. He can be wary of new people, and will need someone to continue to train him on confidence building. Blitz will walk in a heel when requested, he is a quick learner, super food motivated, and will LOVE his owners immensely. Update from foster Mom: With his people, he is the BEST dog, and he's good with dogs if they aren't pushy. He's a quick learner, a cuddle bug, and house-trained. He LOVES hiking with me in the woods, has an amazing recall, and loves playing fetch. I believe he would be the best dog on a farm, where he isn't forced to interact with strangers. I strongly believe that when he is off leash, he will choose to avoid strangers as opposed to confronting them. So why has this amazing already trained pup been with us so long? He doesn't do too well with strangers. We've gotten people interested, but seemingly they seem to ignore his "wary of new people" bit in his bio, and those who have applied want a friendly dog who is ok with meeting everyone. Are you someone who will allow Blitz to become comfortable with strangers slowly? Maybe an active outdoorsy introvert? Or okay with leaving your pup at home while you go out to be extroverted? Blitz is AMAZING. He just needs someone who understands he isn't too fond of people until he feels safe with them. This means not allowing others to approach him on walks and when out and about. No trips to Home Depot or TJ Maxx for this guy. He only needs outings with his new parents! P.S. This means he will take time to warm up to you too! Say hello to Alice, a 1-year-old Bull Terrier mix who’s 45 pounds of pure puppy joy and ears that may or may not double as satellite dishes. 📡 She’s sweet, she’s bouncy, and she’s got that classic “I’m ready to take on the world” puppy energy—and then some. Alice is the kind of pup who: 🌲 Hikes like a champ – Off-leash? No problem. She loves hitting the trails with her dog pals and frolicking like nature’s very own energizer bunny. 🧠 Eager to learn – She’s a smart cookie who wants to please her people (and maybe score a treat or three). 👧👦 Kid-approved – She’s sweet and snuggly with kids and would happily let them serve as cuddle buddies and snack distributors. 🎾 Play-mode always ON – She’s very puppyish and playful, which is adorable… unless you're an older dog trying to retire in peace.
