We rescued Tiwa Dec 22, 2023 from an abusive situation. She was almost bald (previous owner fed her cat food) and had severe entropion eyes(to the point her eyes were almost completely closed) and was not spayed. She is now super fluffy had her eye surgery, and is spayed. We love her so much but her and our current female dog have had some extreme fights sending her to the ER. We now keep them completely separate. Tiwa is great with our male dog. We live on edge worrying about a gate being closed or door because Tiwa and our female cannot be near each other.We continue to work with Tiwa and she listens very well. If you say come she comes. Shar Pei's make some funny noises when playing and actually she plays very different that may upset some pups. My male does not have issue. I am bawling writing this. We Love this girl to death but feel she would be happier in another home without my female. She is about 47 pounds. Even my vet says she is the sweetest Shar Pei she has ever met.

Jinyu came from a puppy mill and is now on a journey to find her forever home. Despite her past, she has made remarkable progress over the past two months and is adjusting well to her new environment. Jinyu is house trained and has shown great improvement in her confidence. She is still a bit timid, especially around loud noises and sudden movements, but she is sweet and becoming more comfortable each day. She gets along well with kids, does well with other dogs, and continues to grow more trusting and relaxed. With patience and understanding, Jinyu will continue to blossom and make a loving addition to any caring family! Jinyu is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. Her adoption fee is $425. Karol completely breaks our hearts sometimes. She wants your attention so desperately and once she's out of the kennel, making friends and getting lots of lovin', she puts the brakes on when it's time to go back. She just loves being with people! Karol is only about 4 years old and her former life was a sad one, judging by her condition when she arrived in Jan. 2023. At first, she was leery of meeting new people and took a bit to warm up to new friends. She's blossomed into a whole new dog since then, and while she may still exercise a little caution meeting someone new, it doesn't take much to win Karol over. She is a smushy-mushy girl that loves getting attention, she's great on a leash, she's housebroken, and she's very playful too. Unfortunately, she's best in a home with no other pets or young kids, but she would be the perfect loyal and loving companion if you just give her a chance. They are 6 1/2-month-old mixes of Shar-Pei and Retriever, currently weighing between 14-18 pounds with estimated mature weights of 45 pounds. These pups wear medium-length solid black coats except for Mercedes and Porsche, who have some white markings on their chests. They enjoy playing with other dogs and toys and have recently discovered their love of water. Adopt one of these pups and surround yourself with a lifetime of sweetness and happiness! Dutch is 10 years old, we’ve had him since 3months. He’s a wonderful protector, great cuddle buddy and good with cats and kids. Dutch is ok with smaller dogs but as he’s gotten older, isn’t too fond of other dogs. Due to our current housing situation, we are sadly looking to rehome Dutch for his final years. Dutch would make a great companion for someone who wants a dog that is house trained and will take care of the home when you’re out or at work. Dutch has been around newborns, toddlers and older children. Dutch isn’t fond of shouting or yelling.
