This adorable girl is fully grown, weighs in at a 31 pounds, and is estimated to be around 2–3 years old. Dot is the total package—gentle, playful, and incredibly affectionate. She gets along wonderfully with adults, kids, and other dogs, especially in casual settings like walks or group play. (We’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet!) Dot is very food-motivated and already knows commands like “sit,” “go to bed,” and how to settle into her crate. She’s perfectly crate-trained and has never had an accident with us. Her previous foster raved about her house manners and how much she loves to cuddle. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Our veterinary partner estimates that Bebe is 1 years old at the time of intake in September 2024, so he would be about 2 years old as of August 2025. Bebe is good with people and other dogs. He can be very active, giving lots of kisses and jumping around. He can also be very sweet and cuddly. He is not a fan of water.Bebe was found neglected on the streets, attacked by other dogs, trying to survive the best he could.
