Hi! I’m Adeline, the original OG -“velvet hippo”. I’ve come a long way - I came to AAP with a skin condition, no hair and was very withdrawn but I’m doing so much better after some TLC! I love getting the zoomies outside but once inside I make a bee-line to the couch and am an instant couch potato, laying up against you snoring with zero shame. I’m starting to understand playing with a ball and absolutely love a good chew toy! I’m the absolute sweetest 1 year old girl who prefers all the attention - best with no other dogs.  I will give you all the love you will ever need!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Hi there! My name is Penny. I`m a super sweet older gal. I came here after my owner unfortunately passed away. I am very shy and unsure of new people so please go slow with me. If you think you have room in your heart, in your life, to include me please come and meet me. I did live with another dog in my previous home but am unsure how I would do with ones I do not know. I am not sure how I feel about children either. So if you have either please bring them in as well so we could all meet and see if we`d make a good match. I`m looking forward to finding a new loving home to live out the rest of my years.

At about 4 ½ years old, she’s mastered the fine art of lounging but is always down for an adventure (especially if snacks are involved 🍪). She’s currently living with three other bulldogs and adores them all — so we know she’s a dog lover. Cats and kids? Still TBD. But honestly, she’s more interested in figuring out how many naps a day is socially acceptable. Fancy is crate-trained, housebroken, and has zero diva drama — no toy or food aggression here. She’s affectionate, goofy, patient, a little quirky, and proudly carries the title of “Professional Snuggler.” Basically, if you’re looking for a companion who’s equal parts silly and sweet, Fancy is your girl. All she needs now is her forever family (with a cozy couch and maybe a few snacks on the side). 🐾💕 ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Location: Beavercreek, OH Food: Purina One Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: NexGard Plus monthly I am ready for my forever family!! I have beautiful blue eyes, as blue as the sky on a clear summer day. I am deaf and my other senses are heightened. So that’s pretty cool! I have some really pretty brown spots on my otherwise white coat. I feel it really makes me stand out in the crowd. I am the main character and I don’t need a supporting cast! I don’t really like being around other dogs and I REALLY dislike cats. Speaking of likes, I really like people. The older, the better! I don’t really enjoy hanging out with young kids and do best around humans who are 15 and up. My foster family thinks I am pretty funny. When I get excited I either hop or plop! I hop like a bunny and I plop for belly ribs. When I see you my entire body wiggles, not just my tale. I’m basically an overachiever. I love to be outside and I even like the snow! I am super curious and alert of my surroundings. I like to walk outside and my foster mom is working on my leash manners, but say I am learning! I sleep a lot, like a whole lot. I play in bursts and then lay down. I like to sit and lay right up against my humans but I’m not a lap dog. Like most bullies, I am VERY food motivated. I don’t want to brag, but I am really good at the sit command. As soon as I see my foster mom raise her hand in a sit command, I do it. Like. It’s. My. Job. Note from my foster mom- Aialik is a really sweet girl, but she requires a strong leader to make her feel safe.
