Hi! I’m Alfie . I’m in a foster home with four other dogs and love to play. I am crate-trained and housebroken and I even taught myself to use the doggie door to go in and out when I need to.  I am very good in my crate even with those long work days. My foster mom is a social butterfly and has taken me to the pub a few times. I love meeting new people!  Adoption fee is $200. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   April 25, 2024, 10:56 pm

Meet Romi!Romi is a 3 year old Shar Pei mix with quite possibly the cutest set of ears you'll ever see! This social butterfly loves to meet new people. Romi is crate trained, house trained, and travels well in the car. She lived with children in her last home and loved all of them!"Romi has been a great dog to foster through Animal Friends Humane Society. She loves everyone and wants to meet everybody. She loves a short easy game of tug rope and watching the neighborhood from the back rear sliding window in the sun. We call her Tender-Romi, since she has such a tender and sweet personality. She is very photogenic and is easy to give a bath too. Romi enjoys giving affection and cuddling, while also having time to herself. Your heart will melt by her welcoming you home with a leaning paw lift. She will make a great addition to any family who would adopt her."Romi does like being the queen of her castle and must be the only pet in the home, but don't let that stop you! She will bring a smile to your face and she will melt your heart when you first meet her.

Story
Me and my 2 girls adopted Hope from Sisca in March of this yr. She was 11 weeks old. She's VERY loving and hyper. We live in a townhouse and don't have a yard for to play in. We're moving to a smaller apt and I don't want to take her. I love Hope but she needs the space to run and play and we just don't have that. I don't want to get rid of our pup because we love her but I have to do what's best for her too. She is fully registered as a ESA for my daughter. Hope gets car sick so we weren't able to take many places so we just didn't take her training beyond the house. She is strong and will gladly take you for a walk. LOL she will laugh. She definitely has her own personality. Also she can eat through any toy we have bought. So that's been a challenge.
