**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees. Meet Dot – Your New Best Friend! 🐾 Dot is a sweet and soulful Shar Pei mix with a heart full of love! This adorable girl is fully grown, weighs in at a 31 pounds, and is estimated to be around 2–3 years old. Dot is the total package—gentle, playful, and incredibly affectionate. She gets along wonderfully with adults, kids, and other dogs, especially in casual settings like walks or group play. (We’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet!) Dot is very food-motivated and already knows commands like “sit,” “go to bed,” and how to settle into her crate. She’s perfectly crate-trained and has never had an accident with us. Her previous foster raved about her house manners and how much she loves to cuddle. Whether she's playing fetch, enjoying a walk, or curling up for snuggles, Dot is happiest when she's with her people. Her dog walker calls her "an absolute joy to be around"—and we couldn’t agree more. If you're looking for a loving, well-mannered companion with the cutest little face, Dot might just be your perfect match! 💕 Interested in becoming a forever home for Dot Pei? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Hear ye, hear ye. Sir Ziegfeld Von Boingington III, Duke of Sploot, Earl of Unauthorized Chewing, Protector of the Gravity Bound, Knight Commander of Chaos has arrived.    Are you dreaming of a dog who will make you laugh and can keep up with you, with the softest coat and most ridiculous hops? We offer you Sir Ziegfeld Von Boingington III — Ziggy to us commonfolk.    How Ziggy ended up alone in rural Washington is a mystery, but a Good Samaritan found him and got him to Pei People. He immediately surprised his foster home with his unabashed happiness, perpetual smile, and absolute sweetness.    As his personality blossomed, his true Bart Simpson mischievous side flourished as well. An active teenager full of zoomies, Ziggy also loves ‘borrowing’ things from around the house and hoarding them in his bed overnight. Missing a slipper? Check his bed.  Roll of poop bags? Yup.    Ziggy adores snacking on his foster brother’s meaty face and checking on how puppy proofed his environment is today. Velcro? Yup! FOMO? Double check!    At around a year old, Ziggy is full of energy and loves life; he needs a yard to let him Zig, Zag, and Zoomie. He’s wary of strange loud things, so city life isn’t really his speed, as much as he loves meeting new people.    Ziggy is a pretty quick learner and loves to figure it out. He’d be fun to do more advanced training on with obedience or even backyard level agility! He has training basics down no sweat, learned how to crate super fast, and would probably be a great hiking buddy.    Lord Z hasn’t been tested around kids yet, and his zest for life might accidentally topple smaller humans. He’s great around dogs his size, but is too much for cats or small/fragile dogs — it’s not prey drive, rather play drive. May 24, 2026, 7:44 pm

Story
Meet Creed, a one year old playful little boy. Creed is a brush coat, 39 pound Shar Pei with the perfect build. He has a squish muzzle that is so soft and a silly hook tail. Creed comes with a personality that is the best of both worlds. He is playful & silly, absolutely loves tennis balls, squeaky stuffed animals and ropes (any kind of toys or bones). He will play for hours alone or with humans. He is so funny to watch, it just brings a smile to your face. He also enjoys and craves being loved. Creed will sit and lean into you just for a little attention. He will relax and cuddle up on the couch right next to you. Good with Dogs ✔️ Good around kids ✔️ Kennel training ✔️ Likes walks but is learning to not pull ✔️ (he is still a pup) Creed recently had two cherry eye surgeries back to back and his eye tacked. He is healing from those surgeries but is ready to find a family who will spoil him and adore him as much as his foster family does. Creed is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and fostering in Idaho Falls, Idaho. If interested in applying, visit www.peipeople.com and complete the adoption application.May 24, 2026, 7:44 pm

Story
Buddy is an 11 year old sharp pie mix who loves to cuddle, take long naps and just be around his human. He does really well at dog parks and just hanging out in fenced backyards but does have challenges with leash walking because he's a puller and reactive to other dogs, deer, squirrels, cats, etc. He's a great dog who deserves to be with a human who has time and space for Buddy to chill out and enjoy life.

Story
Hi! My name is Kola. My human passed away recently and I have nowhere to go. My human adopted me from a shelter in 2017. I am between 9-10 years old, weighing in at 100 pounds. At this time I am alone most of the day, and am house trained. I have not lived with another dog. Because I am old and have some arthritis, I am not allowed to meet other dogs for my safety. If you know how to introduce dogs and integrate, maybe it would work. I do not care for young children at all. I have been around little kids who have pulled on my hair and been rough with me. While I never bit, I did growl a warning and I tried my best to get away from them. Maybe older kids would be fine? I have chronic arthritis, but my monthly injections are covered by the estate for the rest of my life if my new owner is in the Vancouver WA area. I am smart, and a good boy. I do have cataracts. Currently I can see and hear well. I am not demanding at all, just lonely. I love playing with my ball or toy.
