Hi, I'm Jersey, your new best friend! My favorite place to be 99% of the time is next to you whether it's a couch cushion or me hogging the bed. Some may even call me a "clinger" (rude!). I love playing with my toys, my bones, and the other dogs in my foster home. I seem to prefer dogs a little smaller than me. Despite that, I am a bit afraid of the kitty cat in my foster home, though I am a little curious. I like eating in peace and although I'm kennel-trained, I prefer my freedom. I am a great car rider and even trained to use a dog door- I do my business outside! If my funny ears and perfect spots are appealing to you, just wait until you meet me!

Story
This is Bosco. Bosco is an incredibly sweet boy who was abandoned by his owners twice and was found roaming the streets emaciated and covered in fleas. He was HW+ and just finished the intensive treatment. We have gotten him to a healthy weight, gotten rid of the fleas, and have kept him up to date on his vaccinations and preventatives. Please consider him as a new addition to your home. Bosco would do best as a single dog and with adults. We are a daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, and he has been living here and getting well for the majority of 2025. While we have the means to care for Bosco indefinitely, living in a kennel for the majority of your life is no way to truly live :(. He is SO ready to find his forever person/people. Loves cuddles, rolling around in the warm grass, is smart, and eager to please. He is young and can be excitable, so we think an experienced adopter would be best for him. The Best 8-Year-Old “Puppy” Around! Looking for a dog who’s got just the right mix of wisdom and zoomies? Meet Gunner! At 8 years old, he’s got life figured out—except for why squirrels won’t be his friends. Why He’s Awesome: Knows important commands like “sit” and “go lie down” (though he sometimes pretends not to hear after “no more treats”). Crate trained—his “man cave” is his happy place. Leash trained, but if another dog walks by… let’s just say he gets very enthusiastic about making new friends. Neutered and fully vaccinated—basically, a low-maintenance best friend. He’s sweet, playful, and great with people of all ages. If you’re looking for a dog that’s past the puppy chaos but still ready for adventures (or couch naps), Gunner is your guy!  We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for the Pacific Northwest & East Coast.
