Calling all Sheltie lovers!
Meet Karma! A 1-year-old sable and white rough Sheltie who is settling in nicely in her foster home. She will not be ready for adoption until October.
Karma has come out of her shell, and is a playful and sweet, yet calm girl. Although not timid, she is cautious, requiring a few minutes to get comfortable with new people. Once she does, she is affectionate and playful. She likes to be near her humans.
She plays well with other dogs and especially likes them to chase her. She likes to chase any kind of ball but don’t expect her to bring it back to you every time, that’s part of the fun! Karma is a typical youngster, ready to play to start the day, and naps when it is time to recharge.
She has the run of the house when her humans are away and at night. She is very quiet at night. She walks well on a leash, enjoying the time to explore. She knows “sit” and overall is a well-mannered girl. Because Karma is still a puppy, she will need to go to a home with older, dog-savvy kids and she sometimes jumps and mouths the humans in her foster home.
Karma just wants to please and be loved and return that love. She will reward you with all the joy and laughter that this fun, playful, adorable girl has to offer.

If you are interested in this dog; and wish additional information, you MUST submit an application on our website. Once we receive your application, an interviewer will call you and try to answer any additional questions you may have.
In order to continue our rescue efforts and help more dogs, we require an adoption donation ranging from $75 - $500, depending on the age, breed and the expenses incurred on the individual dog.
