My friend found this little guy on the outskirts of San Bernardino, and I have taken him in temporarily here in Hermosa Beach. He is about 7 months old, very friendly, and potty trained. He's incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, but also sleeps really well in a crate. He loves people of all ages, and is quickly learning how to politely walk on lead! He loves to play with his doggy friends, and he is super smart and can pick up on commands very quickly. When he was found, he did not have a microchip, but he now has one, and he also had his vaccinations. He will need to be neutered. Being a senior shepherd (around 9 years old), Lizzie carries herself with years of wisdom. She is a fantastic listener, walker and extremely smart. She is crate trained, fully potty trained, loves her choke collar for walks, knows regular commands, and can be by herself for a few hours no problem. She loves to play fetch or gentle tug of war if you get her riled up, but is in her happy place splayed out on the couch sunbathing and hanging - or on her back getting belly rubs of course. She is incredibly easy-going and just loves to be nearby and cuddled up by your feet when you're working or hanging—she's the best and chillest companion you could ask for. She loves all people and is very trusting. Despite years of neglect and a rough past, she has such an amazing, happy spirit and continues to come out of her shell every day - like she is growing younger not older. She has epilepsy, which has been completely under control with her daily medication. She has come a long way with her walks and has gotten used to going up and down a flight of stairs despite struggling at first, and she knows her limits; if she is getting tired she'll just happily turn us around to walk back home. She's great with kids and does not have a prey instinct. We believe she would adjust to other dogs with proper introduction as well.

Cleo(petra) is a gorgeous one year old and is an absolute sweetheart! She was rescued from the South LA Animal Services Shelter and was kenneled with another dog her size. Cleo is doing well with a labrador she's sharing a home with right now. She loves people with that puppy energy and loves to play. She enjoys various chew toys and likes to mouth things but is always gentle about it. Even when taking treats from your fingers! She loves lick mats, chewing on pig's ear type chews, and Kongs with pumpkin puree. She is super sweet, cuddly, and smart as a whip. She is clearly very trainable and eager to learn already picking up on commands after just a few days like “sit”, “down”, “stay”, and “off”. She would be great for a young family! She is totally chill when she is in her crate. When she is not in her crate she just trots around the house and yard and checks things out. She's not big on lounging around if she has room to roam.

Voted Starbucks Prettiest Pup Cup Puppy Ever A life with me includes morning walks and hikes, downtime while you work, car rides, trips to Starbucks, and bedtime in my crate. I am a foodie, am treat motivated and am potty trained. Don’t worry, no one will rob our house. I have a big girl bark!!! In my own home, we’re learning a meet and greet routine. However, I love going to other people’s homes and meeting their medium and large pet companions. I have yet to meet a small pet companion and hope I will love them just as much. I’m a kid at heart who enjoy’s being active. I love playing fetch & tug-of-war, hide and seek with treats, and I’m a brainiac who loves learning new commands. I understand sit, stay, wait, down, go to crate, and I just learned how to shake. My ideal home has a yard for me to play in and sunbathe. My current foster mom works from home. Ruby. ❤️ Old soul dog in a puppy’s body. God was showing off when she made Ruby. ✨ ✨✨ Ruby is a one-year-old Dutch Shep/Malinois (best guess?) mashup. Exquisitely gentle, so smart, and so super loving. To top it all off, Ruby is as calm as they come! She came house trained. (How does that happen?) Crate trained. Excellent on leash. Easy in the car. Happy with other calm, balanced dogs. Loves to learn and learns fast. Her best skill is cuddling. I’m seeking a wonderful home for baby Ruby.
