Maple is 11 months old, playful & active. She's a pretty girl & small (about 40 lbs) but she has a BIG personality! She's extroverted, confident & loves affection. She doesn't shed much, so basic grooming is fine. Maple is SMART & ATHLETIC. She'll engage with you, intellectually & physically. She knows sit, stay, come, crate, down, gentle & potty. She waits for "ok" before entering/exiting the house & waits for you to leash her, before leaving her crate. She is looking for owner(s) with an active lifestyle (outdoorsy, hiking, etc.) & who will keep up her training. She can go solo, but will do well with another dog who matches her energy level (Border Collie, etc.). A house without cats or *small* kids is best (she's a lover & can get excited, so she may knock small kids over). Maple's an outgoing little girl who loves being cuddled. Write her a letter to tell her about all the adventures you'll take her on & then drive to Solano County to meet her. Don't keep her waiting!

She very playful. She has been treated like a human for the most part. She loves to cuddles and play. She loves to find the area with the most pillows and blankets to take a nap. She’s obsessed with food . We taught her how to sit and wait to be told to eat before she eats. When she needs to use the bathroom she will go to the door and bark, she will most likely like throw her butt onto it and sit down. She likes to play tug of war and fetch. She will bring it back if you say bring it back, give paw and roll over. She know how to speak and lay down. She loves hugs, to cuddle and wear clothes or have a blanket . Watch when eating large treats ! But we always brought her around family, kids, and my moms tiny dogs. She gets overly excited about being around other dogs and may overstimulate the other dog and lead to a fight. Can not trust off leash. She has past trauma of my abusive ex when she was a puppy .
