COURTESY LISTING: Please contact Desiree at 510.575.5086 or desireeshaver@comcast.com. Cesar is a lovable goofball, protective and loyal. He's been professionally trained at a boarding facility but doesn't have a home to return to. He is desperate need of a foster of forever home, and a handler who can provide structure and discipline to continue his journey as a model canine. Cesar has been through so much. His mom was evicted and he was separated from his brother. He's been in and out of homes and was on the euthanasia list at the local shelter before he was rescued by a good samaritan who raised enough money to enroll him at a training boarding facility. All the volunteers have fallen in love with him. What his trainer wrote: Cesar is an excited happy guy who thrives off structure. He’s amazing on leash. He’s also crate trained and is great around food. Even though he gets excited easily, he doesn’t have a ton of energy and would prefer not to do anything too strenuous. ? He would be an amazing only dog but could also live with another dog if he’s given time to adapt. If you would like to have a coffee date with Cesar please contact Desiree at 510.575.5086 or desireeshaver@comcast.com. GoFundMe - please consider donating for Cesar's boarding & continued training: https://www.gofundme.com/f/cesars-new-life?utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet

Story
Meet Capri — a Hidden Gem Ready to Bloom Capri is a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a heart as soft as her gentle gaze. Weighing in at 55 pounds, she’s a sensitive soul who’s slowly learning the world isn’t such a scary place after all. What she needs now is a calm, patient adopter who can help her continue that journey with kindness and consistency. Once she feels safe, Capri walks beautifully on leash, enjoys gentle pets, and lights up for treats — she already knows how to sit! While the noisy shelter has been overwhelming for her, outside the kennel she reveals her affectionate, soulful nature. Capri will thrive in a quiet, stable home without young children. A confident dog sibling could help her gain confidence, and someone with experience working with shy or fearful dogs would be a huge plus. She doesn’t need grand adventures — just a soft voice, a steady hand, and someone who sees the magic in the small wins. If you believe the most beautiful connections take time to grow, Capri is waiting to meet you. Story
Meet Jerry – Our Longest Resident Still Waiting for His Forever Family Jerry is a 16-month-old, 55-pound Shepherd mix with the heart of a hero and the soul of a best friend. He’s been overlooked for far too long, and we know his perfect match is out there. Why consider Jerry? • Dog-friendly • Great with kids and adults • Currently fostered in a home with other dogs and children • Potty trained • Crate training in progress • Excellent on leash • Smart, eager to please, and very trainable • Comes with four free professional training sessions • Not suited for homes with cats Jerry is an affectionate, social, and silly pup who loves people and playtime but also knows how to settle down and relax. Whether you’re headed out for a hike, a jog, or a drive to the kids’ soccer game—Jerry’s your guy. He loves car rides, outdoor activities, and tagging along to family events. He would likely do great at dog parks and would thrive with an active family that includes him in their adventures. Jerry lives on a clean, rigid prescription diet due to a recent IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) diagnosis—but don’t let that deter you. His foster family has found it easy to manage, and Jerry is thriving. Outside of that, he’s a healthy, happy young dog who has already overcome a great deal, including two surgeries. He would do best with a home experienced with working breeds—someone who understands the value of structure and consistency. With the right support, Jerry could also make an incredible Emotional Support Animal (ESA). He’s sensitive, deeply bonded to his people, and eager to connect. Jerry has waited long enough. He’s truly a gem of a dog, ready to be someone’s adventure buddy, jogging partner, or couch movie companion.
