Story
You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email cox_ann@bellsouth.net for an application

Story
🐾✨ Sunny Needs a Loving Forever Home ✨🐾 Everyone, Im asking for help with something very close to my heart. Sunny is an 8-year-old (almost 9) German Shepherd mix with the sweetest soul youll ever meet. I rescued him last year from a truly awful situation, and since then hes blossomed into the most loyal, gentle, and loving companion. Unfortunately, his previous owner recently reached out to say her new partner is severely allergic to dogs, and Im terrified of him ending up on the streets again. I cant let that happen. Sunny is laid-back and calm, but he still enjoys being active and going on adventures. He thrives best as the only pet in the home. He wants to give all his love to his person. Hes house-trained, deeply loyal, and has so much love left to give. This is incredibly hard for me because I care about him so much, but I already have a dog and cant keep him permanently. What I can do is make sure he finds a home where he will be safe and happy.

Story
Aaliyah was born on December 3rd of 2024. She is a beautiful pure bred GSD who is AKC registered. I am looking to rehome her at this time due to her not getting along with my other dog. She would do best in an environment where she is the only dog in the home.*** I have two cats, and they have never had any issues. She loves playing outside, long rides in the car, friendly toward humans, and loves to cuddle. Ideally, you would have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for her to run around. Please reach out to me with anymore questions

Story
Tru is a gorgeous, high-energy, athletic girl who is looking for a home that matches her zest for life. At around 65 pounds, she's a strong, powerful dog who LOVES to move — running, hiking, exploring, and playing are her absolute favorite things. If you’re looking for a dedicated adventure partner, Tru is your girl. She walks on a leash but would much prefer to go, go, go! This is not an apartment dog — she needs space, exercise, and a family who understands and appreciates an athletic dog. Tru is extremely friendly with all dogs and all people, but she does best with someone confident, consistent, and comfortable handling a strong dog. 🌟 Personality Super friendly with people and other dogs Very athletic and energetic LOVES to run — needs daily exercise Walks on leash but wants to move fast Needs a strong, firm, dog-savvy handler Joyful, social, and enthusiastic 🏡 Ideal Home Tru needs an adopter who enjoys outdoor time and can give her the active lifestyle she thrives on. A fenced yard, a runner, or a hiker would be perfect. No apartments. She will shine in a structured, active home where she can burn energy and get consistent guidance. Tru is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
