She has a calm, loving presence and truly enjoys being around her people, soaking up affection and companionship. Whether it’s a peaceful walk or relaxing together at home, Sophie is happiest just being part of the moment.Sophie came to rescue after being found starving on a rural property with her puppies after the owner went to jail. Despite everything she’s been through, she has remained incredibly loving, trusting, and resilient. Now that she’s safe and cared for, Sophie is ready to leave survival behind and step into the happy, comfortable life she deserves.She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore with her person. Sophie also loves car rides and happily joins in on adventures. She does great with other dogs and is wonderful with kids, making her a fantastic fit for many different family dynamics.Like all dogs, Sophie will continue to thrive with consistency, routine, and positive reinforcement as she settles into her forever home. She was born in December 2022 and is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
