Story
Bo is a rescued purebred pit bull who loves companionship and is the definition of a gentle giant. He nibbles ever so softly off your hands for treats and loves to take naps after a long walk. He does well with other dogs and kids over the age of five. He is not reactive to other dogs while on walks, and he mainly ignores reactive dogs who bark at him. His parents were deported, and he was pulled from the shelter shortly after. Unfortunately, his new parents are unable to commit to him due to their busy schedules, and he’s looking for a forever home. Bo has an Embark DNA test result that’s fun to read and check up on for his future family!

Story
I’ve had Duchess since she was a puppy. She will be turning 6 this October and ranges between 30-35 pounds. She’s a mellow dog, but has separation anxiety and always needs to be with a human or she stresses. She knows many basic commands and is used to walking on and off leash. I’ve never had to worry about her running away. She’s an escape artist and will jump/climb a fence to get back to you. She has never been aggressive toward a human, but will bark/growl and can sometimes act aggressively toward other dogs. Once she gets to know the other dog (24-48 hours) then she has no problems playing with them. She hasn’t had much exposure to other types of pets including cats. I’m looking for a loving home for her because she stresses in new environments and I move every few years for my job. Looking for someone who isn’t planning to move and has a yard for her to play in and has experience with dogs and a lot of patience.

Bikini came to us from a small rural shelter where her chances of getting out were very slim. She is a 3 yr old pit/catahoula mix and don’t let her breeds fool you. She’s a total couch potato! She has her moments of zoomies but they don’t last long. While she does live in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, she is the queen bee and can be a little bossy so she is looking for a home with no other dogs. She loves all people she meets and she is a very sweet girl. She has good doggie manners but needs some work on her leash training. She is a puller on the leash but we’ve seen a lot of improvement with the ez walk harness. Bikini is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and spay.
