Story
Batman is a loving and affectionate German Shepherd who enjoys playing with other dogs and absolutely adores children. He is very obedient, well-mannered, and thrives on attention and companionship. Batman is four years old, fully vaccinated, and neutered. He came into my care after being passed down to me by a close friend. He would do best in a home that can provide him with plenty of love, time, and space to continue being the loyal and playful companion that he is.

Story
Jackie O was picked up stray by a city animal control facility and has been there since 10/23/25. (AAA is helping get her info out so she can find the home she deserves). She is patiently waiting for her ticket out. She is a charismatic and highly social gal who has been to many adoption events and attracted tons of attention but still hasn't had any takers... She is extremely playful and we recently figured out at an event that she is a doll with kids!

Story
House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Quiet My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Ozzy is the hilarious way he stretches! Likes: Going for hikes, playing at the dog park, riding in the car, being with my people Hi, Im Ozzy! My foster family describes me as a real gem because Im such a sweet, loving, gentle guy. My favorite place to be is with me people! If youre looking for a shepherd-shaped shadow to follow you around and give you all the love, Im the pup for you! Since moving in with my foster family, Ive made amazing progress in coming out of my shell. I can be a little nervous around strangers and big, scary noises, but I try my best to be brave everyday, and am gaining confidence by the week! When something is making me nervous, I head to my crate to decompress. That's my safe space! It also means that if youre someone who needs to go into the office for work, Id be happy to snooze in my crate or chill with my bones on the couch until you get back. Im a very laid-back, well-behaved guy. Im totally potty trained, Im very quiet in the house, and Im good at walking on-leash too. I like to take my time on walks, stopping to smell the roses, and maybe even sampling a few. My foster mom says that one of the cutest things I do is stopping in front of her on walks to get pets and attention. Even when Im out having a blast, I still want to make sure she knows I love her! One of my favorite things to do is go for hikes and spend time outside. It's not a must, but I'd love it if my forever family had a yard! In addition to being a perfectly well-mannered gentleman, Im also a smart cookie! I mean, I am a shepherd after all! I already know Sit, Down, and Come, and Id love to learn more tricks with my forever family! My favorite treats are...well, anything really! I especially love sweet potato flavored snacks and apple slices. I'm not picky though! If you're willing to share, I'm willing to give it a try! I live with doggy foster siblings, and we get along great. We love to play together with our toys, and just hanging out as a pack. I also like to make new canine friends, and I love playing at the dog park and doggy daycare. Being with other dogs boosts my confidence, so I think it would be awesome to have a dog sibling in my forever family! Being an only child would also be just fine with me, and Id even be fine having a cat sibling! I cant wait to meet my forever family, and start sharing all my love with them! If youre looking for a super handsome, loyal, loving pup to add to your pack, look no further! Apply to adopt me today! Story
Tessa is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Are you looking for a gorgeous shepherd working breed dog? Look no further than Tessa! Tessa originally lived with a family in a townhouse in Alexandria. Unfortunately, due to their limited space and inability to provide her with adequate exercise during her early years, she developed significant pent-up energy and struggled with reactivity, particularly toward other dogs. Tessa has been through a formal training program with one of our trusted trainers, and is now looking for an adopter who can take over her management tools, exercise routines, and structured training. Tessa deserves a family that she will be able to share a lifetime of happiness with. With the help of her training, she has been successful in playing with other dogs after proper, slow introductions. However, we would recommend that she be the only dog in the home. Tessa is bright, beautiful, and oh-so fun to work with. If you're interested in meeting Tessa, or learning more about her, please don't hesitate to reach out! ATTRIBUTES: Tessa would do well as the only dog in the home. Tessa does well with other dogs outside of the home. —------------- Laila’s Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained.
