Tessa is looking for their forever home!
WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Are you looking for a gorgeous shepherd working breed dog? Look no further than Tessa!
Tessa originally lived with a family in a townhouse in Alexandria. Unfortunately, due to their limited space and inability to provide her with adequate exercise during her early years, she developed significant pent-up energy and struggled with reactivity, particularly toward other dogs.
Tessa has been through a formal training program with one of our trusted trainers, and is now looking for an adopter who can take over her management tools, exercise routines, and structured training. Tessa deserves a family that she will be able to share a lifetime of happiness with.
With the help of her training, she has been successful in playing with other dogs after proper, slow introductions. However, we would recommend that she be the only dog in the home.
Tessa is bright, beautiful, and oh-so fun to work with. If you're interested in meeting Tessa, or learning more about her, please don't hesitate to reach out!
ATTRIBUTES: Tessa would do well as the only dog in the home. Tessa does well with other dogs outside of the home.
