Story
Lemon was rescued from a high-kill shelter with just one day left before his deadline, and he’s now ready for a fresh start in a safe, loving home. He was originally surrendered, along with several other dogs, when his previous family could no longer afford to provide proper care. He previously lived in a busy household with multiple adults, children, and other dogs, so he’s accustomed to an active environment. Lemon is very friendly with both people and other dogs, and he greets new friends with a happy, affectionate demeanor. He’s food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training enjoyable and rewarding. He already knows basic commands such as “sit” and “wait,” and he’s excited to continue learning. Lemon would do well in a variety of homes — whether with a family, a couple, or a single adopter — as long as he receives consistent love, attention, and guidance. He would thrive with an adopter who can provide regular exercise, continued training, and plenty of affection.
