Story
**Petal is currently being fostered in HOUSTON TX but is available for adoption out of state via rescue transport, no added fees. All adopters are offered video chat to meet the dogs face to face PRIOR to committing to adoption. We accept returns on all of our animals at little to no cost depending on your location** Petal is a sweet, gentle young dog whose confidence has grown tremendously since coming into foster care. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she is affectionate and loves neck scratches. She knows basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. One of her favorite things is being around puppies. She has been wonderful with the foster puppies in my care and seems to genuinely enjoy their companionship and playful energy. Before I took her in, she had been living outside in the neighborhood. I don't know how she does with cats, but I never observed her chasing them while she was outside. As she's settled into foster care, she's become more confident and has recently found her voice a little, but she's generally a calm dog. She's somewhat independent while still enjoying being part of the family and participating in whatever everyone else is doing. Although she's grown some since I first took her in, she hasn't grown as much as I would have expected for a typical German Shepherd mix and appears likely to remain a medium-sized dog. Petal would do well with someone who will continue building her confidence while appreciating her gentle nature. She has been a joy to foster and deserves a loving home where she can continue to thrive. The last picture shows where she was found on the streets.

Story
Meet Bubbles — your future best friend and resident goofball! 💕 At just 9 months old, Bubbles is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet, snuggly companion. This adorable pit mix may look like a big girl, but she’s really just 40 lbs of lovable chunk and wiggles! Bubbles is a total social butterfly — she’s fantastic with kids, gets along great with other dogs with proper introductions, and absolutely lives for playtime. Whether she’s wrestling with her doggy friends or zooming around the yard, her silly personality is guaranteed to keep you smiling. She’s not just fun — she’s smart, too! Bubbles is crate trained, and already knows her basic commands. She’s eager to please and would thrive in a home that will continue to guide her as she grows. Bubbles’ story started when she was found as a tiny puppy at a laundromat. She was quickly adopted, but through no fault of her own, she has found herself back with us and ready for a true forever home. What she’s really looking for? A family to love her for life — one that will embrace her playful spirit, appreciate her goofy charm, and give her all the belly rubs she deserves. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal, and endlessly entertaining companion, Bubbles is your girl. 🐾💖 Bubbles is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, spay and heart worm test. Story
Rascal is a 2-year-old, 47-lb lovebug with a big personality and an even bigger love for adventure. Always on the go, this high-energy boy is happiest when he’s playing, exploring, or staying busy with his doggie friends. He would do especially well in a home with another high-energy pup who can keep up with his playful spirit. Rascal and his brother Zane were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston, and despite their rough start, they are incredibly sweet, loving dogs. They can be adopted together or separately—either way, Rascal is ready to bring joy, fun, and lots of tail wags to his forever home. In his foster home, Rascal loves running around the yard, play with his toys or play his favorite game "fetch", and finding new “projects” to keep himself entertained. True to his name, he’s always up to something and keeps life exciting and fun. Rascal is perfect for a home with a second playful dog who is looking for a playmate. He is the perfect affectionate companion who’s always ready for the next adventure. 🐶❤️ Rascal is a medium sized dog. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Rascal's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
