Story
Rocco is a 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who came to us after being rescued from the Riverside Shelter. He’s incredibly sweet with a happy-go-lucky personality that fits just about anywhere. Rocco has been a star at our public events—he loves meeting new people and is especially gentle and patient with children. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Rocco would thrive in a home with another playful dog or kids to romp around with. As a Husky/Shepherd mix, he’ll do best with an active family and a yard where he can burn off energy, but he also knows when it’s time to settle down and relax. Rocco is truly the best of both worlds, and whoever adopts him will feel like they’ve hit the jackpot. Story
Finn is the best dog ever. He came from a farm in Jarupa Valley, CA. He was 6 months old when we got him and is now 5 1/2. His bday is New Yeas Eve. He needs a family that has the space for a big dog. He is about 126 lbs. Yes, that big! But his heart and love for life are bigger! He loves to play and go for walks. He will keep close by your side ;) He's good at recall, sometimes in his time, but he'll never let you out of his sight. He loves the beach (his favorite), the park, anywhere he can run and play around with other dogs. He loves a good time. He has never been aggressive and is super social. Hes house trained and can hold for a long time. LOL We've loved our time with him and will miss him terribly. Finding a new family for Finn is breaking our hearts, but we truly believe there is a home out there in the world who can give him a better life than us; a home with a family and a heart as big as his who will love him like crazy and adore him as much as we have. XOXO

Pongo is a Shepherd Collie Mix who was pulled from Moreno Valley Animal Shelter and was there since the beginning of July. From Pongo's foster: " I had been visiting him at the shelter for almost 2 months and no interest.. I watched him get better from a virus and pull through and still no one. He was always so well behaved. Would sit when I asked. Was loyal on the first day I met him just chill and would do his business and come back to you and lay down below you. He's such a calm dog for being at such a loud shelter. Not reactive to people nor dogs. Walks well on the leash. Can you ask for more of a perfect dog??? He was scared of the stairs when he came home but conquered it like a champ on his first night! Pongo, you're such a great dog! You make me feel like I'm going to foster fail with you

Solstice was adopted at two months old. After two years, they decided she wasn’t a good fit, and returned her. Solstice was returned skittish and afraid of strangers, but loving once she knows you. She is looking for a very special family that will help boost her confidence and provide her with socialization. She is an active, middle ages dog. She loves fetch, swimming, and LOVES hiking. She is highly intelligent, vocal, and chill indoors. Her foster family reports that she is potty trained and became extremely warm and affectionate after a few days of patience. She is a little “shadow” and loves to be with her foster parents. She is an “alpha” female and looking for an experienced home with no small pets or kids.
