Story
Rocco is a 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who came to us after being rescued from the Riverside Shelter. He’s incredibly sweet with a happy-go-lucky personality that fits just about anywhere. Rocco has been a star at our public events—he loves meeting new people and is especially gentle and patient with children. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Rocco would thrive in a home with another playful dog or kids to romp around with. As a Husky/Shepherd mix, he’ll do best with an active family and a yard where he can burn off energy, but he also knows when it’s time to settle down and relax. Rocco is truly the best of both worlds, and whoever adopts him will feel like they’ve hit the jackpot. Story
Scout and Hunter are brothers who were adopted at about 4 months old from a shelter. They are now 8 years old. They are extremely kind and fun dogs. But they are also very energetic. They love nuzzling in for pets and playing "catch me if you can". They need plenty of exercise. They love walking or running, but are not very interested in fetch. They are e-collar trained to heel, sit, down, stay, and at ease. They both also have what the vet says is DLE, causing pigmentation loss in their noses, and with Scout scabbing on his nose and ears. Antibiotics and steroids were effective, but a long term solution has not been found. Unfortunately we have moved to a home with almost no yard, and now have multiple young children, and they are not getting the attention and exercise they deserve. They are very kind with our children. We love them and want them to go somewhere they can live out the second half of their life how they should. A big yard and plenty of exercise is a must. Crate trained.

Story
Mystery was surrendered from an abusive household to a local humane society which we adopted her from. She is a very shy, loving, and caring dog she needs a house with space or more active people who can take her for walks. She is great with children and infants, other dogs, etc. She is a great companion but needs more than we can offer at the moment. She is 1 year and 4 months and spayed, basic training but needs someone who is willing to work with her. Very calm dog who does not bark or make much sound she likes to relax and enjoy time outside when it comes to potty time, other than that she is willing to go along with your day.

Story
Finn is the best dog ever. He came from a farm in Jarupa Valley, CA. He was 6 months old when we got him and is now 5 1/2. His bday is New Yeas Eve. He needs a family that has the space for a big dog. He is about 126 lbs. Yes, that big! But his heart and love for life are bigger! He loves to play and go for walks. He will keep close by your side ;) He's good at recall, sometimes in his time, but he'll never let you out of his sight. He loves the beach (his favorite), the park, anywhere he can run and play around with other dogs. He loves a good time. He has never been aggressive and is super social. Hes house trained and can hold for a long time. LOL We've loved our time with him and will miss him terribly. Finding a new family for Finn is breaking our hearts, but we truly believe there is a home out there in the world who can give him a better life than us; a home with a family and a heart as big as his who will love him like crazy and adore him as much as we have. XOXO

Story
Star was found w/ another Shepherd about 2 yrs ago. We vetted/ spayed and rehomed the girls to a family with many kids. They had a large backyard with a covered patio and doggie door to the garage. Sadly they moved out of state and left them behind. Star will transition into house life with proper training. She comes inside into crate at night or in rain weather. I take her for walks often and she is pretty good and does not pull you on leash. She can get excited if she sees a squirrel. Star will sit, off, and down. She could use some consistency with training and more attention than we can offer. Star can be food dominant at times, but is good for humans with food. With experienced owner she can be with other dogs. The girls had a playmate come visit at previous home. Once Star feels safe she will be a great smart and loyal companion who will love belly rubs and her kind human friend. Star really wants to please and be a good dog once she Trusts you. Story
Penny was found with her friend Star and we vetted the girls and rehomed them a couple years ago. The family moved out of state and were unable to take them with and we are seeking a new home. Penny would probably do BEST and happiest as the only dog bc she LOVES human companionship so much and loves children too. She is a beautiful and loyal girl who would like a great home hanging out with her family. She is sure to make you smile. She is in a foster home living with another female dog. She isn't a great dog playmate. She wants to be a human friend. We can also rehome her with Star if you are looking for a pair of Shepherds.

Story
This is Duke. I agreed to watch him temporarily for his owner while they moved, but they abandoned him and never returned. He has now been in my care for one month, and it’s clear he needs a stable, caring home. I want the best for Duke, but I’m not in a position to keep him long-term — he’s not on my lease, and I’m away from home for extended periods. Duke deserves a family who can give him the care, attention, and support he needs. I don’t know much about Duke’s medical history or whether he gets along with children. What I do know is that he gets along with a small dog he’s been around. If you or someone you know can provide a permanent, caring home for Duke, please reach out. I’m happy to share more about his personality, needs, and daily routine.
