Story
Zoe is a beautiful 9-year-old Shiba Inu looking for a calm, child-free home. She has been a beloved part of our family since a puppy, but with a toddler and a new baby on the way, we can no longer provide the controlled environment she needs to feel safe and relaxed. Zoe is an independent, loyal companion who enjoys quiet time and routine. She’s generally calm & quiet but has some behavioral sensitivities & can be reactive around children and other dogs and may snap if touched unexpectedly. Because of this, she’ll do best in a home without young kids or other pets, with someone experienced in understanding and managing Shiba behaviors. She is currently on medication for anxiety and allergies, which help her stay comfortable. Zoe is house-trained, crate-trained, up to date on vaccinations and vet visits, and prefers a peaceful environment with predictable routines. We are looking for a patient, responsible adopter who can offer Zoe a safe and loving home for her senior years!

📌 Important Adoption Information: All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Ellong 👋 Ellong was found on the streets of South Korea in 2018 and rescued just moments before euthanasia. Against the odds, she survived—and in 2021, she finally found what we all believed was her forever home. Sadly, after four years of being part of a family, Ellong was returned to the shelter. We were heartbroken and confused to hear that she was said not to coexist well with another dog—after four years together. Despite this painful chapter, Ellong remains one of the most well-behaved and gentle dogs at the shelter. She carries no bitterness, only quiet hope. We truly wish for Ellong to find a real forever home this time—one that will stand by her, cherish her, and never abandon her again💛 • Personality: Affectionate, Gentle, Friendly Ellong is full of affection and loves people. She adapts quickly to new places. Energy level is mid-low. • Affinity with - Dogs: Does well around other dogs - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with all people / Hasn't experienced kids, but we believe she would be fine with calm older kids. • Housetrained: Uses pee-pads indoors and the bathroom outdoors. • Walking Manners: Loves sniffing around on walks. • Bathing/Brushing: Good with both • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Quiet • Car Rides: Good with car rides. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No food allergies found so far • Likes/Dislikes: Loves belly rubs the most! • Shedding level (1~10): 6-7 • Health: Ellong is suspected to have grade 1.5 patellar luxation. Maintaining a healthy weight and engaging in regular exercise are recommended to help preserve her current condition. Otherwise, she is a healthy, happy pup ready for her forever family! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea ** • Rescue Story : Meet Dong-yeop👋 Dong-yeop was wandering in the mountain and the neighborhood. He followed other dogs walking around. Some residents filed many complaints to fire stations, police stations and animal rescue organizations, but they all failed to rescue him, raising vigilance. In the meantime, He often appeared in front of the house of a resident and ate meat she was feeding him. Some residents who were interested in Dong-yeop's rescue in the neighborhood decided to work together to rescue the dog, set up a fence in front of the house, and succeeded in rescuing Dong-yeop who came in to eat. Since then, Dong-yeop has been living in a temporary foster home for months, where he had good care and love and learned lots of tricks. He has turned into an amazing dog who loves walking and playing with toys! He is now more than ready to find his own forever home! • Personality: Shy, Smart, Curious • Affinity with -Cats: He tends to chase street cats but is not very interested in indoor family cats.  -Dogs: Great with other dogs. He also relies on the resident dog in his foster home.  -Adults/Kids: Shy around new faces / not much interest in kids • Shedding: 5-6 (1-10 scale) • Food Allergies/Picky Eater: No food allergies. While he loves meat very much, he doesn't eat vegetables or fruits. • Walking Manners: Still in training but improved a lot on leash walking! Now he's excited to go out for walks. • Housetrained: Fully-housebroken, using the bathroom only outside. • Baths: Not a fan! • Separation Anxiety: None, thanks to the other dog in the house. • Bark or Howl: Not really... except when he greets his foster at home out of joy. • Likes & Dislikes: He likes other dogs and tug-of-war! He loves beef and he likes to get pets! / He's not a fan of being chased or carried by people. He seems to get better as times go by though.
