Story
Freya is a pure breed Shiba Inu who we adopted from an animal rescue facility in Orange County, CA on November 1, 2025. The animal rescue facility mislead us and provided us with incorrect information about her. We were originally told Freya is a 8 years old mix breed. After adopting her and taking her to our vet for her detailed medical exam, we were told Freya is a 3 year old pure breed Shiba Inu. Originally, Freya and our 10 year old Shih Tzu got along, but Freya has become more domineering and assertive (never aggressive) towards our Shih Tzu, because Freya wants to play. This has caused stress with our Shih Tzu to the point were we are concerned for her welfare This is typical behavior with Shiba Inu breed we came to learn. Freya is house trained, attended an extensive out-of-home obedience training course, loves to play fetch, is a love-bug and gets along with people and children. We are desperately trying to find a good home for Freya quickly.

📌 Important Adoption Information: All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Ellong 👋 Ellong was found on the streets of South Korea in 2018 and rescued just moments before euthanasia. Against the odds, she survived—and in 2021, she finally found what we all believed was her forever home. Sadly, after four years of being part of a family, Ellong was returned to the shelter. We were heartbroken and confused to hear that she was said not to coexist well with another dog—after four years together. Despite this painful chapter, Ellong remains one of the most well-behaved and gentle dogs at the shelter. She carries no bitterness, only quiet hope. We truly wish for Ellong to find a real forever home this time—one that will stand by her, cherish her, and never abandon her again💛 • Personality: Affectionate, Gentle, Friendly Ellong is full of affection and loves people. She adapts quickly to new places. Energy level is mid-low. • Affinity with - Dogs: Does well around other dogs - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with all people / Hasn't experienced kids, but we believe she would be fine with calm older kids. • Housetrained: Uses pee-pads indoors and the bathroom outdoors. • Walking Manners: Loves sniffing around on walks. • Bathing/Brushing: Good with both • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Quiet • Car Rides: Good with car rides. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No food allergies found so far • Likes/Dislikes: Loves belly rubs the most! • Shedding level (1~10): 6-7 • Health: Ellong is suspected to have grade 1.5 patellar luxation. Maintaining a healthy weight and engaging in regular exercise are recommended to help preserve her current condition. Otherwise, she is a healthy, happy pup ready for her forever family! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. ---------- 🩷 Rescue Story Shiney was rescued from a legal breeding facility in Jeongeup city from South Korea. After spending her early life in a breeding environment, she was given the opportunity to leave that setting behind and start a new chapter. Since entering foster care, she has shown a calm, composed demeanor and has adjusted steadily to a quieter, more stable life. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Malgeum is a quiet and independent dog who prefers to mind her own business. She shows little interest in other dogs and generally ignores them rather than engaging. She does not do well with cats and may attempt to chase them if she sees one. With children, she is tolerant and gentle. Even when a child touches her, she remains calm and still, showing no signs of aggression. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Malgeum follows an outdoor-only potty routine and is fully accustomed to doing her business outside. Her overall demeanor is calm and self-contained. She is not demanding of attention and is comfortable spending time on her own. 🏡 Habits & Training Malgeum is well-adjusted to daily routines and does not exhibit problematic behaviors. Her independent nature makes her an easy companion for adopters who appreciate a dog with a more reserved personality. 💛 Likes & Personality Malgeum values personal space and a peaceful environment. She may not seek constant affection, but she offers quiet companionship in her own steady way. She is currently living in a foster home. ---------- 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee.
