Story
Meet Hyonie! Hyonie was found at a park in South Korea at four months old in March 2022 and taken to a high-risk shelter alongside her two sisters. Luckily, they were saved right before euthanasia by a rescue team. While one of her sisters is living with a foster family, Hyonie is still living with other dogs in a private shelter. She is looking for a forever home where she can be showered with undivided love and care. > Personality: Shy, Cuddler, Smart Hyonie is somewhat shy around strangers and barks a little. However, she is surprisingly a BIG cuddler to people, which means that all she needs is a little bit of time to open up in the beginning. She learns things quickly as she is a food-driven smart cookie. You will definitely find training her a part of the joyful journey with her! > Relationships - With dogs: She gets along with other dogs. - With adults: Very friendly > Walking manners: Good > Shedding (on a scale of 1 to 10): 7 > Food allergies/Picky eater: No > Potty (indoor/outdoor): Hyonie knows how to use pee-pads even though she lives in the shelter. She may go potty indoors (pads) and outdoors both when adopted. > Bathing/Brushing: Very good > Barking: A little bit toward strangers > Likes/Dislikes: She likes going for walks, playing with toys, and chewing stuff. / She doesn’t like being kept in confined spaces. > Current living situation: Well taken care of in a private boarding house in S. Korea > Health Issues: No issues except for a little scar under her right eye she got while playing as a puppy. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Hyonie, please don't hesitate to submit an application now!

Meet Yuhyun! The beauty with cute white socks on her front paws! At just 3 months old, Yuhyun was found on the street in S. Korea alongside her two siblings and sent to a high-risk city shelter. They were fortunately rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and brought to its private shelter. She was temporarily fostered as a puppy and moved to the current foster home when she was 10 months old. She learned a lot about socialization during the foster care from the two homes. Yuhyun has been immensely loved by two teen girls in her current foster family, and now she’s ready to give you her love❤ > Personality: Affectionate, Gentle, Relaxed YuHyun is a super sweet and gentle girl! She is basically cautious but always quickly adjusts to new things. She has a relaxed and laid-back personality and never badgers you about things, so her current foster family emphasizes how easy it is to take care of her – a low-maintenance pup! Plus, her energy level is low. When she’s alone at home, mostly she sleeps without separation anxiety. Not sensitive about domestic noise, she hardly barks at home. > Relationships - with dogs: Good with other dogs. A little afraid of big-sized/aggressive dogs. - with cats: No aggression towards cats. Shows a little bit of interest in them on a walk but ends up just passing by shortly. - with adults/kids: Good with adults. She was afraid of the male adult in her foster family at the beginning, but now he is her favorite hooman in the family! / Great with teenagers. Currently, she lives with young teens in her foster home and loves playing with them. Okay with young kids. She just tries not to engage with them. > Walking manners: Well-mannered, pacing with her people without pulling the leash and reacting to street noise. She even has good recalls in dog parks. > Shedding (on a scale of 1 to 10): 7 > Food allergies/Picky eater: No. She just knows when to stop eating by herself, so you would never have to worry about gaining weight for her😉 > Potty (indoor/outdoor): Fully housebroken, mainly using pee-pads indoors and sometimes outdoors. > Bathing/Brushing: She tolerates both well. > Separation anxiety: None. She mostly rests and sleeps while alone at home. > Barking: Almost none. Just a little bit at the beginning of strangers coming inside the house. > Car rides: Very good with car rides > Likes/Dislikes: She is always happy to see birds and flying insects/leaves outside. Story
Polly and Lolly were found along with three other siblings near a breakwater on Jeju Island, South Korea by passing tourists and taken to an animal shelter. Among the siblings, one succumbed to Parvo and Coronavirus, while the remaining four were rescued from a high-risk shelter by an animal welfare organization. Currently, two of them have been adopted in Korea, and Polly and Lolly are looking for their homes. They are still not used to being leashed and get scared when they see bigger dogs. However, they are very fond of people and follow them well. Since they are still young puppies, they love running around wildly. They use potty pads indoors and are being taught to go outside for their bathroom needs. They don't show separation anxiety but tend to get car sick when riding in a car. They behave calmly when meeting a veterinarian. If you are interested in adopting Polly and Lolly, please submit an application now.
