Story
Harley was a homeless dog in the neighborhood that we caught and took home. at first she was a fence jumper and runner but after awhile became a home body. She has become over protective of her family and needs socializing with other people and may bite strangers if not restrained. We can’t keep her because she needs more socializing that we cannot provide. She is part German shepherd and Malinoi

Story
Handsome Griffin looks like a blend of a Shiba Inu and a Carolina Dog. This handsome 6-month-old boy is great with children, cats, and all other dogs big and small! Of course, Griff is neutered and up to date on all his shots so he is ready for his forever home. I have his medical records for his new forever family. He’s been loved, healthy, and handled since he was born, so he’s already extremely social. My guess is that Griff will grow up to be about 40 pounds or maybe a bit less. Griff is affectionate, mellow, loving, quiet, playful, and goofy. He is perky, attentive, alert, happy, and very smart! There’s not a lot I can say about puppies other than I think he will make the best companion dog you’ve ever met because he’s truly delightful, funny, and very friendly! I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. We always take our rascals back if it isn’t a good fit. Please call 858-602-2061 for more information about our wonderful foster buddies!

Story
Meet Apollo! Apollo is a 5-year-old, 24 lb Shiba Inu/Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a sweet spirit. He sadly lost his home through no fault of his own—after his family went through a divorce, Apollo had nowhere to go. Thankfully, a kind Samaritan stepped in and reached out for help, and now this deserving boy is safe in foster care and enjoying long, peaceful trail walks with his foster mom. Apollo is a kind, sensitive soul. He can be a bit shy at first, so he’ll thrive with someone who understands slow introductions and gentle handling. Once he feels comfortable, his loving personality really shines. He’s already bonded beautifully with the German Shepherd in his foster home—they have a blast playing together! This smart boy has already mastered sit, and he also knows lay down and look. Even better, he’s potty trained. Apollo loves car rides, exploring new places, and being part of the adventure. He has been fully vetted, including a recent dental, and is healthy and ready for his next chapter. Due to his prey drive with small critters, Apollo will do best in a home without cats. Apollo is looking for a patient, loving adopter who will help him continue to blossom. If you’re searching for a loyal friend with a tender heart, Apollo may be the perfect match. Please complete our adoption application at www.lovebugsrescue.org Adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, microchip, vaccines current, deworming and flea treatment.
