Lucky is a really loving dog. He's been a part of our family for 5.5 years and it's a very hard decision to rehome him. Lucky's a relaxed, chill dog when hanging out at home and very loving with his people. He also enjoys long walks and hikes. He gives the sweetest cuddles and prefers to be close with his people. He’s the most affectionate dog we know. We have worked really hard to give him a loving home, but we now have two children and believe Lucky would be happier in a house without any kiddos. Like many rescues, he can be unpredictable with new people but if folks give him space, he’s good. He has responded well to training and is taking medication for anxiety, but he has nipped when startled on occasion. We believe a perfect home for him would be one without children and with a loving owner looking for an affectionate dog to cuddle with and care for.

I'm a very nice, very easy going lady. 12 lbs 5 years old with one micro eye and one eye "in the works"-big ulcer when I was rescued but it's getting better every day. I just did not receive the proper care before but now I sure am! I am great with everyone-as gentle as can be. Dogs-Kids-Cats-a ok! can't wait to meet you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. Meet Celeste! Celeste is an irresistible little doll, 10-years old and weighing 10-lbs. She is a massive snuggle bug who wants to sleep on the bed every night, as well as being next to you on the couch. She’ll also be your little blonde shadow, and if you work from home, she will likely nap next to your feet while you work. Her back legs are a little wobbly and might not be great for jumping, but this girl would happily walk for miles if you let her. Celeste loves other dogs, as well as getting along with cats just fine. She’s also got a playful side, and would be very happy playing with another dog, even though she doesn’t go for toys. She has a VERY healthy appetite, and would gladly eat breakfast, lunch, dinner AND dessert. Celeste rarely makes any noise except while waiting for you to prepare her meal, where she will voice her impatience with little groans and growls. Celeste is up to date on shots, fully vetted, and microchipped. She is working on potty training, and will be spayed at the time we remove her mammary tumors.
