Story
*We will not be at Pet Supplies Plus on December 20. Instead, join us for our annual Deck the Paws holiday adoption event! From 11 AM–1 PM, you can find us at Maxline Brewing (2724 McClelland Dr #190, Fort Collins, CO 80525). See you there!* Meet Bentley—Sir Bentley, if you please! This distinguished little gentleman is as charming as he is lovable. He’s a curious explorer who enjoys a good walk around the neighborhood and absolutely adores car rides, especially when he gets the perfect view out the window. Bentley loves to take in the world at his own pace and will happily accompany you on any quiet adventure. When the excitement is over, Bentley is happiest snuggled right in your lap for a long, cozy nap. He’s kennel trained and settles well, but in his heart of hearts, he’s dreaming of a forever home where he can curl up in your bed. I promise he doesn't hog the covers!. He’s fully house trained and gets along nicely with other dogs, though he’s also confident and content enough to be your one-and-only. Bentley is a peaceful soul who prefers calm over chaos. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children and with people who appreciate a gentler, quieter lifestyle. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than love, comfort, and companionship, Sir Bentley is ready to take his rightful place in your heart and home. Bentley is a 3-year-old shih tzu rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Bentley is also tested with other dogs and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats and would prefer a home without children. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Meet little Arnold! He just arrived in Colorado 12/17 and is living in a foster home in Aurora with three other dogs *CAT, DOG, & CHICKEN FRIENDLY!* Sweet boy, arrived matted, neglected, and from a hoarding situation to the shelter in NM. He is ready to go from rags to riches after living in deplorable conditions in a hoarding situation. He is shy with a gentle and dainty soul. He is friendly and able to be handled. He allowed the medical team to help with grooming and has been good with other dogs. Hoarding dogs are usually a bit shy and benefit from another dog in the home. Once he settles in we will have more details on him. He is neutered already, up to date on vaccines, and getting a dental cleaning before arriving in Colorado.

Story
We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see a sweet dog that needs our help. Willow is one of these dogs that deserves our loving assistance due to her excellent temperament and all the love she'll bring to a dog-crazy family. Our dream for this wonderful little being is to have a home filled with nothing but pure love and nurturing for the rest of her life. Willow is a gorgeous 7ish year old Shih Tzu / Lhasa Apso mix that is amazing! She is 14 lbs of wiggles and kisses. Willow is SO sweet and once acclimated to her new life, will make a wonderful addition to a family that is seeking a full-time best friend. Willow's Texas rescuer had the following to brag about our amazing pup: This stunning little Shih Tzu / Lhasa Apso (we can't say her breeds with certainty as no DNA test was done) was shockingly found as a stray in New Mexico and brought into a small high-kill shelter where no dog should ever be. The kind folks at Rescued Pets Movement were contacted about saving this tiny girl's life. How could they say no..her sweet nature and kind eyes were simply irresistible. This precious girl has the biggest, brightest eyes you’ve ever seen — the kind that look right into your heart and silently ask for love. She’s listed as 7ish or so years old, but we believe her to be younger. She looks (and acts!) like a happy-go-lucky young girl. Despite everything she’s been through, she still comes right up to people with her waggy tail and sweet smile seeking love and affection. Willow arrived at the shelter looking like she hadn't been cared for in a very long time, yet she was incredibly sweet. She was a bit frightened in the loud, overwhelming shelter environment, but her kind soul shines through instantly. She takes treats readily — and so gently — and she melts the moment she feels a kind hand near her. This amazing dog absolutely does not deserve to be in a shelter. She is far too loving, gentle, and pure-hearted to spend another day without a home. All she needs is someone who will show her what it feels like to be cherished, nurtured, warm, and safe. Upon her arrival in Texas, Willow was immediately placed in a foster home. Her foster mom wanted to share the following: "What else can I say other then this girl is pretty much perfect!? Her fun-loving, silly, and loving personality is a joy to behold! How can this tiny stray be so absolutely wonderful? Whoever is lucky enough to have Willow join their family is truly getting a gift! Willow is a perfect size to be able to accompany her family just about everywhere a smaller size, well-behaved dog is welcome. She will fit right into virtually every situation due to her great temperament and very sweet personality. Farfel's would like to see our wonderful girl in a home that includes her in family time and activities (and some lap or couch-time with belly rubs would be absolutely perfect!) as well as taking that extra step to participate in positive reinforcement / force free virtual or in-person obedience classes. These classes successfully teach a smart and cooperative dog like Willow the skills to accompany her family out into the world with excellent behavior. Farfel's Rescue is happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person force-free trainers in your area. Willow will be a loving and devoted companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a silly, fun-loving and irresistible dog. She would love to have another gentle and fun dog to play with but it's not mandatory if her people are nurturing and involved. Willow would also do well with a younger family that works from a home-based office. She would bask in the attention and periodic cuddles throughout the day that this life-style brings. We believe that Willow is too sensitive a girl to spend the long hours of full-time employment outside of the home alone. Willow's non-shedding coat (although we can never swear to it) is currently shelter-sad. She therefore will require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming (approximately every 8 weeks) and great nutrition. A five star food and daily salmon oil supplement will provide the nutrition necessary for Willow's coat to become cottony-soft and shining with excellent health. Willow has been fully vetted, is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. This supports Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs that won't contribute to the overpopulation challenges in the canine population. Willow is arriving on transport in Boulder on Wednesday 1/7/2026. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and loving best friend. An app can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-res. cue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Willow please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Halo is a 4 year old, 20lb Shih Tzu.  Halo was surrendered from his owners becayse she had a lot of dogs and wanted to downsize.  Halo is the cutest little boy who is missing half his jaw, so his little tongue hangs out of his mouth all the time - it might be the cutest thing ever! Halo is the cutest little man with a big personality.  Halo loves to snuggle and hang out with his foster Momma.  He gets along with other dogs and is great on a leash.  He is pretty well trained and listens well.  Halo is also a pretty stubborn little man.   For some people this big personality is hilarous and they adore everything about him, everybody who meets him laughs at him and falls in love instantly.  He loves to cuddle and hang out and go for walks/wander around the back yard.  He is a non shedding dog so he will need someone who can get him regular grooming appointments.  If you are looking for an adorable little dog, with a tongue hanging out all the time, and a big personality Halo is your man! If you are interested in adopting little Halo, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2234207##
