Halo is a 4 year old, 20lb Shih Tzu.  Halo was surrendered from his owners becayse she had a lot of dogs and wanted to downsize.  Halo is the cutest little boy who is missing half his jaw, so his little tongue hangs out of his mouth all the time - it might be the cutest thing ever! Halo is the cutest little man with a big personality.  Halo loves to snuggle and hang out with his foster Momma.  He gets along with other dogs and is great on a leash.  He is pretty well trained and listens well.  Halo is also a pretty stubborn little man.   For some people this big personality is hilarous and they adore everything about him, everybody who meets him laughs at him and falls in love instantly.  He loves to cuddle and hang out and go for walks/wander around the back yard.  He is a non shedding dog so he will need someone who can get him regular grooming appointments.  If you are looking for an adorable little dog, with a tongue hanging out all the time, and a big personality Halo is your man! We’re looking to find the perfect home for a very special 2-year-old pup. He’s potty trained, loves walks, enjoys playtime, and is full of personality once he trusts you. Unfortunately, he’s had a rough past — in his previous home, small children poked and startled him, and it’s left him sensitive about certain kinds of touch. He doesn’t do well with young kids and needs a calm, adult-only home with someone patient and understanding. He’s also wary of feet and may react if accidentally touched with them, so he’ll do best with someone who can give him space and positive structure. He’s incredibly sweet once he feels safe, and he deserves a home where he can truly thrive. My mom took him in with good intentions but isn’t able to meet his needs right now. 💛 Rehoming fee waived for the right home — we just want to make sure he’s loved and well cared for. Bella is so calm and good behaved in every environment, she likes be cozy and comfortable next to owners and loves to be at home with company, after years of care she recently is having difficult with urinary health that require small surgery to remove rock from her bladder and We unfortunately dont have the money to pay for it, we recently had a baby girl and with this health problem is impossible keep her inside the house anymore(she is still sleeping inside and always been) due her incontinency is unhealthy for a newborns it is a very difficult choice to take but we wish there is somebody who is willing to take her to the vet and fix her, she is 7 years her birthday is in April 4th we looking for a good person to take care of her and have all the resources to make the best her senior living she has three sisters that love her so much and want the best for her.

Church lived in a cemetery for four months before being rescued. He will be a great cuddle companion if you're afraid of the dark! Church is a one- to two-year old, 13 pound, Shih Tzu. He loves toys run around and will tear after tennis balls that you think would be too big to fit in his tiny mouth. He will do great in an active household as he needs his run time. He has puppy energy, loves toys, and is very playful. He is very friendly with dogs, people, kids. He will bark at passerby's in public, buts it's an excited, little bark, with tail wagging. Potty trained. He is an easy dog. Church has made the journey from San Antonio, Texas to Colorado and is being fostered in Denver, available to meet! ***Church is being posted on behalf of our partner rescue in Texas- the process and adoption will go through them. The adoption fee does not include the transport fee of $200.*** Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.
