Gizmo is a sweet 6 yr old male Shih Tzu mix who is looking for a loving forever home. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations and routine care and has no known health or behavioral concerns. Gizmo has been a beloved part of our family, and finding him the right home is very important to me. I am preparing to return to active duty service in the U.S. Air Force, which will involve moving and significant changes in my schedule and living situation. Because of this, I want to make sure Gizmo has a stable, loving home where he can continue to be happy and well cared for. He is a wonderful companion and deserves a family who will love him, care for him, and make him part of their family. I am hoping to find someone who will give Gizmo the same love and attention he has received throughout his life.

Meet Fancy – A Sweet, Shy Girl Learning to Be Brave 🐾 Fancy is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu weighing just 8.9 pounds who is slowly discovering how wonderful life can be! She is a gentle, timid girl who needs a little time and patience to feel comfortable, but every day in foster she is becoming braver and showing more of her sweet personality. Fancy is doing well with learning potty training and is making great progress! She thrives on a consistent potty schedule, which has been helping her learn what is expected of her. She is also starting to do most of her potty business while out on walks. Her future family should be prepared to continue her routine and help her keep building on the progress she has made. Speaking of walks, Fancy is doing really well on leash! She still gets nervous when unfamiliar people approach or when sudden, loud noises happen around her, so she will need someone who can give her reassurance and guidance without pushing her too quickly. At home, one of Fancy's favorite places is perched on the back of the sofa where she can look out the window and watch the world go by. She is also beginning to seek out affection on her own, which is a big step for this shy little girl! And while she may not always be brave enough to ask for cuddles just yet, if you scoop her up and put her in your lap, she absolutely loves snuggling in. Fancy loves her food and treats, but she still prefers a little personal space while enjoying them. She isn't quite comfortable eating while someone is watching her and won't take treats directly from your hand yet. If you put them down and give her some space, though, she's happy to enjoy them! She's even getting brave enough to come into the kitchen when called for dinner as long as she has a clear path and doesn't feel pressured. Fancy's confidence is growing little by little, and it's been wonderful to watch her learn that people and new experiences don't have to be scary. She isn't a dog who needs to be rushed—she needs someone willing to celebrate the small victories and allow her personality to come out at her own pace. With patience, consistency, and plenty of cozy lap time, Fancy has all the potential to become a wonderful little companion.
