Snuggles arrives in Colorado Saturday 2/7/2026 and needs a committed foster home or adopter to welcome him! You usually associate Snuggles with sleep and relaxing, but this boy is very energetic! His rescuers fave thing about him- he doesn’t need another dog to play. If he has his toys, he will run into the yard and toss toys for himself. He loves being outdoors, it can be hard to get him inside. He sunbathes. He loves other dogs and kids. When you pick him up, he paddle his little legs likes he's swimming It would be just plain cruel if Snuggles wasn't also a... snuggler. Snuggles is crate trained, doesn’t potty in crate, but does need to go straight outside to potty- he's about 80% there. Snuggles is currently living in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting an adopter or open foster home in Colorado to bring him up and into their home! ***Snuggles is being posted on behalf of our partner rescue in Texas- the process and adoption will go through them. He has shown nothing but warmth and love, and he truly thrives on affection and attention from his people. He’s also been wonderful with his foster’s dog, who is about his size, showing playful and friendly behavior. He should be good in any home where he can be showered with love. On walks, Arlo is a joy. He’s happy to let his walker take the lead, but he also loves stopping to sniff and explore the world around him. From the foster: Are you ready for the sweetest little shadow to be your bestie? Alfie is your guy! Alfie is such a calm and sweet soul. His favorite thing to do is follow his people around all day. Going in the kitchen? He’s there! Going to the bathroom? He’s there! He’s his happiest hanging at your side. He never jumps on furniture but if you invite him up he’ll gladly snuggle with you all day. Alfie is a dream and sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep. He’s 99% potty trained and has only had a couple incidents of marking in the house. He was recently neutered and as he gets more comfortable in his home, I imagine this will stop. He’s quickly picking up commands such as sit, stay, and leave it. He loves to go on walks and is a breeze with the leash. He doesn’t bark at people, dogs, or cars but just might want to go and say hi. He’s completely unphased by cats and isn’t intimidated by big dogs. This little guy is a very low maintenance and easy going dog who mostly just lounges around all day. He’ll need to be groomed regularly as he’s prone to matting. Alfie would be a dream in any home!
