Story
Hannah and Nelle Bonded pair of girls available for adoption www.VIPRescue.org Hannah 10 years - 11.5 lbs Nelle 8 years - 10.5 lbs ******Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pet's needs. PLEASE NOTE: LOOK OVER YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE HITTING SUBMIT, AS INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CLOSED. Breed: Hannah ShihTzu mix and Nelle - Terrier mix Age: Hannah 10 yr - Nelle 8 yr Sex: Female Weight: Hannah 11.5 lbs and Nelle - 10.5 lbs. Color: Hannah - Blonde and Nelle - Black DOGS: Yes they get along with similar sized pups, **Need to be the only 2 pets in the home Kids: Respectful 10+ with dog experience Fenced yard: RECCOMMEDNED Need a single family home, sorry no apartments or condos. A several weeks ago we told about 2 sweet girls who were abandoned by their family and left behind when their “humans” moved out of their home and just left them there to fend for themselves. We also told you that they needed to decompress, go to the “dog”tor, and just chill out for a few days. “Miss”Hannah is a 10 year old 11.5 lb Maltese mix gal, while “Miss” Nelle, is an 8 yr old 10.5lb. terrier mix. Both of these sweeties have been through a lot recently, and are now in search of a loving “fur”ever home together. Yes, together, because these girls are totally bonded. They both had a delightful bubble bath, groomed, as they were infested with fleas and very matted, then had some playtime and then off to the “dog”tor for their spay, dentals ( poor Hannah had 11 teeth extracted 😞) and brought up to date with their vaccines. It was also discovered that Hannah had an ear infection, and a small hernia which was taken care of during her spay. With all that behind them now, they are looking for their new family where they would be the only pups in the house. Are you an empty nester? maybe retired? maybe work from home? Adult only home? Are you active and would love to play with them in the yard, and will take them on walks? Do you have the love and patience to offer these two a great home? They have a bit of separation anxiety, and are working real hard on house training, and doing great! They’re in a loving foster home that is teaching them all the good things life has to offer. They love going out into the fenced yard to soak up some sun and play a bit. They also follow their foster mom everywhere! As we said, both girls are now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, had dentals, and are on their heartworm and flea prevention. So, if you’re up for cuddles, and can offer these girls a safe and secure home, exercise them (fenced yard preferred, but not necessary as long as you go on several daily walks with them) then you just might be what they’re looking for! Need a single family home, sorry no apartments or condos. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. www.viprescue.org

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m Rudy. 🐾🤍 I’m a 13-year-old Shih Tzu mix and a proud little old lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’ve been through a lot in my life, but you’d never know it by how much love I still have to give. 💕 I absolutely love being close to my people—whether that’s hanging out while you work, resting near your bed, or snuggling up for some quiet time. I’m a laid-back girl who enjoys the simple things: cozy blankets, comfy beds, gentle walks, and lots of love. 🥹 Now, I’ll be honest… I do have a little bit of sass. I’ll let you know (with a tiny grumpy growl) when I’ve had enough pets or don’t want to be picked up. I’ve never nipped—I just like my boundaries respected like the classy lady I am. 😌 I’m potty trained, leash trained, and very well-behaved in the house. I get along with other dogs but mostly prefer to do my own thing— no rough play for me, please! Calm companions are best. I want to be transparent about some of my current health concerns: ❤️ Moderate to severe enlargement on the left side of my heart 🫁 Changes in my lungs consistent with possible pulmonary edema ⚠️ Findings concerning for congestive heart failure But even with all of that, I’m still a tough— and extra snuggly— little girl. My dream home 🏡: * A quiet, calm home * Someone who is home often (I love being near my people 💛) * No kids * A cozy space filled with soft beds and blankets * A relaxed environment where I can enjoy my golden years I’ve come a long way since my rough start, and I’m finally getting the love and care I deserve. Now I’m just looking for a forever home to spend my days feeling safe, comfortable, and cherished. 💖 Love, Rudy 🐾 Adoption FEE: $150 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Loko 🐶✨ I’m a 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart 💛 I’m a total love bug who just wants to be close to my person. Whether that means cuddling on the couch, following you around the house, or even sleeping next to you—I’m all in 🥺 I’m what they call a “velcro dog,” but the good kind—I love being with you, but I don’t panic when you leave. I just really enjoy your company and want to be part of your world 🐾 I’m playful, confident, and super eager to please. I get along great with other dogs (big and small!) and even cats. I especially enjoy having a dog buddy to play with—it brings out my fun side 🐶 I’m crate trained, leash trained, and mostly potty trained (just a few accidents here and there while I keep learning). I already know “sit” and I’m working on more commands—I’m a smart boy and pick things up quickly! I can be a little more comfortable with women at first, but I do warm up to men with a little patience and space. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loving and loyal 💛 My ideal home would be calm and loving, possibly with another dog for companionship. I’d do best with older children or a quieter household where I can settle in at my own pace and build confidence. A little note from my foster: Loko is goofy, sweet, and full of personality. He might not realize how cute he is, but trust me—his charm and loving nature make him absolutely irresistible. He’s going to make someone a truly amazing companion 🐶✨🐾 Adoption FEE: $600, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.
