Story
Hannah and Nelle Bonded pair of girls available for adoption www.VIPRescue.org Hannah 10 years - 11.5 lbs Nelle 8 years - 10.5 lbs ******Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pet's needs. PLEASE NOTE: LOOK OVER YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE HITTING SUBMIT, AS INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CLOSED. Breed: Hannah ShihTzu mix and Nelle - Terrier mix Age: Hannah 10 yr - Nelle 8 yr Sex: Female Weight: Hannah 11.5 lbs and Nelle - 10.5 lbs. Color: Hannah - Blonde and Nelle - Black DOGS: Yes they get along with similar sized pups, **Need to be the only 2 pets in the home Kids: Respectful 10+ with dog experience Fenced yard: RECCOMMEDNED Need a single family home, sorry no apartments or condos. A several weeks ago we told about 2 sweet girls who were abandoned by their family and left behind when their “humans” moved out of their home and just left them there to fend for themselves. We also told you that they needed to decompress, go to the “dog”tor, and just chill out for a few days. “Miss”Hannah is a 10 year old 11.5 lb Maltese mix gal, while “Miss” Nelle, is an 8 yr old 10.5lb. terrier mix. Both of these sweeties have been through a lot recently, and are now in search of a loving “fur”ever home together. Yes, together, because these girls are totally bonded. They both had a delightful bubble bath, groomed, as they were infested with fleas and very matted, then had some playtime and then off to the “dog”tor for their spay, dentals ( poor Hannah had 11 teeth extracted 😞) and brought up to date with their vaccines. It was also discovered that Hannah had an ear infection, and a small hernia which was taken care of during her spay. With all that behind them now, they are looking for their new family where they would be the only pups in the house. Are you an empty nester? maybe retired? maybe work from home? Adult only home? Are you active and would love to play with them in the yard, and will take them on walks? Do you have the love and patience to offer these two a great home? They have a bit of separation anxiety, and are working real hard on house training, and doing great! They’re in a loving foster home that is teaching them all the good things life has to offer. They love going out into the fenced yard to soak up some sun and play a bit. They also follow their foster mom everywhere! As we said, both girls are now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, had dentals, and are on their heartworm and flea prevention. So, if you’re up for cuddles, and can offer these girls a safe and secure home, exercise them (fenced yard preferred, but not necessary as long as you go on several daily walks with them) then you just might be what they’re looking for! Need a single family home, sorry no apartments or condos. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. www.viprescue.org

Story
Woody was rescued from a hoarding situation and is very shy. His ideal parents would be retired with other dogs in the home. Woody is still very scared from the neglect and abuse. We have fostered him for 18 months and in that time he has learned to take treats, sit on couch and potty outside. He requires a fenced in yard as he has not learned to leash walk yet. We’re hoping to find the best parents to get him to the next stage of his journey. He can be picked up from his play pen and held. He has a stroller and gets in it on his own. He loves rides. He also likes graham crackers. He would need committed parents who are patient and willing to invest in behavioral therapy. We are willing to help pay for training direct to the trainer. We’re moving and won’t have a fenced yard so unable to keep him. He weighs 12 lbs

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Teddy & Bear Sugar and Spice and everything nice. These adorable 8-month-old Shih Tzu mixes are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together. Teddy and Bear share a special connection and truly thrive when they’re side by side — playing, cuddling, and exploring the world together.   Bear is sugar, sweet as can be. Teddy is spice, playful and inquisitive. Bear does have a cherry eye, and surgery to correct it will be included as part of his adoption package. ❤️ Once healed, he’ll be feeling his very best!   Both boys love running around the yard, chasing each other, and playing fetch with their toys. They’re big fans of chew bones and will happily entertain themselves — but their absolute favorite place to be is in your arms soaking up cuddles.   They can be shy and a bit skittish at first, but they’re improving every single day. Teddy seems to be just a little more outgoing, while Bear follows his lead. With patience and love, they continue to blossom into the sweetest little companions.   They’re pee pad trained and working on house training. They’re very gentle, love giving kisses, and they would do well with kind, respectful children.   If you’re ready to open your heart and home to double the love, Teddy and Bear are ready to meet you.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 22, 2026, 3:04 pm

URGENT REHOMING NEEDED ASAP: Sweet 8 lb. "Teddy Bear" Dog Needs Immediate Home (Lakewood Ranch, FL) Cocoa's owner is facing eviction due to Cocoa's severe separation anxiety, which causes incessant barking and door-scratching when left alone since just moving to Florida. Story
🩷 Meet Karen & Chad 🩵 Looking for twice the love? Meet Karen and Chad, an adorable bonded pair of Yorkie mixes searching for a forever home together. These two are inseparable. Whether they’re following you around the house, supervising dinner, or curling up together for a nap, they’re happiest when they’re side by side. They’re affectionate, social, and full of personality. Karen recently had a TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) after struggling with chronic ear disease, and she’s recovering beautifully. Her painful ear is finally behind her, she’s feeling fantastic, and she’s ready to enjoy life without discomfort. Chad takes his job as Karen’s protector very seriously. During her recovery, he made it known that he wasn’t thrilled about anyone giving her medications—barking his little warnings to make sure his best friend was okay. Despite his dramatic announcements, he’s all bark and no bite. He’s never been aggressive—just a loyal little guy looking out for his girl. Both Karen and Chad are: 🐾 Wonderful with children 🐾 Great with other dogs 🐾 Cat-friendly 🐾 Healthy, happy, and affectionate 🐾 Ready to be spoiled in a home of their own They’re not shy wallflowers—they love being part of whatever you’re doing and have the kind of fun, goofy personalities that make you smile every day. After everything they’ve been through, these two deserve a family who will keep them together forever. If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, loyal companions who will fill your home with love (and a little comic relief), Karen and Chad are waiting to meet you. ❤️🐾
