He’s confident, sassy, and very expressive — a true grumbly little gentleman who knows what he likes and isn’t afraid to tell you. Despite his opinions, he enjoys couch time, being near his person, and will follow commands… while complaining about it. Asher has been through a lot and come out the other side strong. He’s fully healed from past surgeries, his mass was benign, and he’s feeling great. During his vetting, we also discovered he has an enlarged heart. He currently has no symptoms and will simply need to stay on daily heart medication to help slow disease progression and keep him feeling his best. The important stuff: 🐾 Perfectly housebroken 🐾 Great with dogs 🐾 Great with cats 🐾 Smart and responsive 🐾 Best suited for an adult or older-teen home Please note: Asher does guard food and treats, so food interactions should be managed in his forever home. Asher isn’t a “yes man” — he’s a dog with opinions, charm, and a whole lot of personality. If you’re looking for a small companion with character, communication skills, and plenty of love to give, Asher might just be your guy. 💙🐶
