Story
It’s easy to fall for his looks (just wait till you see him in person), but there’s a lot more to bodacious Bo than his cute face! 🎩🖤 Bo is an 11-month-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix who will likely be around 10 pounds full grown. His personality, however, is much bigger than his size. He’s a goofy, happy little guy who can switch from play mode to nap mode in record time. He loves zooming around the yard (and fully expects you to join in), and fair warning: he will absolutely run circles around you if given the chance. Bo enjoys playing with other small dogs, does well in his pen (even overnight), and is generally a quiet, easy houseguest. He’s still working on his puppy skills. He knows his name, understands that potty time happens outside, and is very motivated by kibble and treats. He’s not fully reliable just yet, so patience and consistency will go a long way as he continues to learn! Bo can be very sweet and affectionate, but he prefers to come to you on his own terms (aka: cuddles are best when they’re his idea). Because of that, he’d likely do best in a home without young kids. While he hasn’t been around cats, he does enjoy other small dogs. And that soft, fluffy coat? It will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. ✂️ Bo has dry eye syndrome, which means he’ll need daily eye drops and ongoing care with a veterinary ophthalmologist to keep his eyes healthy. He usually cooperates, but may add a little drama with some wiggles or grumbles. Thanks to his small size, it’s all very doable with the right routine. This special little guy will thrive with someone patient, understanding, and willing to meet him where he is. In return, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind best friend with a big personality packed into a small package. Bo’s adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Apply to meet Bo at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐈 🐱 🐈 Cat-friendly 🐈 🐱 🐈 Sometimes combinations work perfectly together, and nobody knows why 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Two individuals just mesh and complement each other like potato chips and ice cream (hey, don’t knock it til you try it!). Not saying that one is salty and one is sweet here, but 🥨Danny🍨 and 🍦Pixie🥨 are one of those perfect combos. Who knows why they belong together, but they just do! They have their own distinct personalities, and they’re not necessarily fully opposites, just slightly different flavors of great doggies. Danny is really laid back and has very soulful eyes. Pixie is the life of the party and always looking for hugs and cuddles. Danny doesn’t really play with toys, but Pixie loves them, and her squeaky toy is her favorite. There’s a lot more common ground than you’d think: They both love attention, getting pets and hanging out in your lap. Both pups walk very well on the leash, and a daily walk or backyard time will give them the exercise they need. They also like car rides a lot and are happy to hop in and accompany you on your errands. They are both house trained and crate trained. Pixie will bark at other dogs (and sometimes at the cat), but she does fine with dogs her size. Danny gets along with other dogs for the most part and couldn’t care less about cats. Danny is a 5-year-old Lhasa Apso mix, and Pixie is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu, and they both weigh 12 pounds. They need a secure fence, because Pixie can be a runner, and Danny will follow her lead. They should live in a home with older kids, probably 12 and over. They make each other happy, but they’ll also make their people so very happy. It’s a 🏆🏆 win-win-WIN 🏆🏆 with these two little buddies. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Their adoption fee is $225 for both. Apply to adopt them today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
