Story
Bear was on the streets of Houston, headed to a kill shelter when one of our southern fosters stepped in and saved this handsome boy.Bear is a sweet little dog and a great size. He is 13 pounds of love and fun. He is very playful, loves to give kisses, and loves all toys. He also loves his toys like a toddler, gets them all out, and leaves them all over the floor. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He was fine with cats, too. Bear will do great in any home. He is not living with children, and we do not know if he ever has, so we think age older children would be best. He has met and played with his foster neighbor's children, and he does great with them.He is house-trained, crate-trained, and uses a doggy door. His foster mom can't say enough good things about him. Did we mention he is a great cuddler and lap ornament?? Well, he is!Bear will do great in any home. The neighbor's kids would play, and he did great with them.Name: BearBreed: Shih Tzu/PoodleSex: MaleAge: 3 years (estimated)Weight: 13lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 7Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $500.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently: Texarkana Tx IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
