Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.OMAR is listed as yellow but he is really blonde.  He is 5 years old and 17 pounds and cries/whines loudly to go potty.  He gets along with all of the foster dogs in my home and of course he is partial to the females as his play partners!  Yes, they are all fixed but he just likes the girls. OMAR walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  He enjoys hanging with his humans and chewing on his bully sticks.  He is also crate trained but it is hard to leave him in a crate when I am home because he has a fit wanting to get out.  He likes toys and runs zoomies in the yard with the other dogs. HAZEL and her son were owner surrendered to me by a backyard breeder who only had the dogs in her home to make money.  Surprisingly HAZEL has a great, quiet and mild temperament with no aggression in any area.  When I put her out to potty I have to make sure to leave her out a while because she tries to get right back in to follow me around the house. RIP was found roaming the streets with his daughter and son, WHISPER & BREEZE.  They are 6 months old and available for adoption.  They were posted on multiple social media pages looking for their owner to come forward but no one ever claimed them.  And we really wonder where the mother is without them.  The puppies pictures and bio's are available. Since coming into my home, RIP has been a quiet and well-mannered little guy.  He mplays and gets along with all of the foster dogs.  I have small breed and 2 large Rottweilers that he plays with very nicely.  He does go outside to potty but he prefers coming right back in to hang out with me.   He does not jump on the furniture like some other dogs in my home but he does come up for head rubs and love and attention.  RIP would love a home of his own so he does not have to share the love with so many other dogs. Casey is ready to find a fabulous forever family! He's a senior shih tzu, about 11 years old, who came to AATDR from the Deep River case in CT. He is an absolute sweetie! So get in line and fill out your applications 🙂 https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved Casey loves people and gets on well with other small dogs. We've never seen him with a cat but he would probably be fine - a meet and greet would tell us for sure. He'll do best in a quiet home with adults or older children. As a senior, he deserves to be able to just relax and enjoy his retirement. He'd love a canine companion who is a bit laid back. He does have some visual impairment but it doesn't get in his way at all. He needs eye drops daily, which are easy to give and inexpensive. He will have his neuter surgery on 6/10/24. . Let's show Casey just how wonderful life can be with a loving forever family, and that his present and future can be WAY better than his past! He's such a wonderful, deserving dog!

  Our little man that is quite the scruffy delight is called Zach. This  charming little guy had his devoted and loving owner die recently and he was left with no family members willing to take him.  Critter Cavalry had a foster to step forward and now this 11 pound, Shih Tzu and Jack Russell mix has us on the hunt for a forever and ever new home.  He is the perfect mature and settled age of 6 years.  A boy that is mellowed and smoothed out in life and has an easy personality and low expectations from his humans.  He is a snuggler and he is a lover.    A smart fellow that would be a perfect companion for so many types of family or single life situations.  A retired couple or person, a young couple that don’t want puppy energy or empty nesters who are about to enter retirement age and want a great travel buddy who rides well in a car and is a walk on the leash dream dog. Zach is good with other dogs and that is a plus if someone has another dog or visits friends and family with dogs.
