Meet Paxton! Paxton is a happy, playful sweetheart with an easygoing spirit and a heart full of love. He may pause for a moment when meeting new people but give him a minute and he’ll be leaning in for affection like you’ve been best friends all along. This good boy is potty trained and has wonderful house manners — no chewing on things he shouldn’t, just a calm, content pup who enjoys being part of the family. Paxton adores spending time with people, loves playing with other dogs, and would be over the moon to have a doggy buddy. That said, his gentle, adaptable nature means he’ll fit beautifully into just about any loving home. Wolfie is a 7 year old Shih Tzu with a gentle heart and a loyal spirit. This sensitive boy came into rescue after his previous home was not the right fit. He takes his “lap protector” duties very seriously and would thrive in a calm, adult only home with one or two special people to call his own who are home often to keep him company. Wolfie did not do well with other male “in your face dogs” but does best with calm small dogs his size. He is high energy, and another dog could help him burn some energy, but he could be a solo pup just as well! Wolfie would do best with a fenced yard or a new home who will keep a close eye (and leash!) on him. He is more active than many people expect from a Shih Tzu and regular outdoor play helps keep him happy and confident. He will also take himself for a run given the opportunity, and can be a sneaky guy to catch up to. He has is great with leash training and enjoys walks and little adventures. Wolfie can be a bit anxious at first but once he feels safe his affectionate and devoted nature shines. His favorite place is curled up on your lap soaking up love and attention. He LOVES snuggling under the covers at bedtime and will spin in circles when he gets excited. He can also be a sassy Shih Tzu chatterbox when he knows what he wants! Meet Snowfy! Snowfy is a very sweet boy! He is approximately 6 years old and loves every human he meets! Snowfy absolutely loves to snuggle and spend time with his human friends! When Snowfy came in for rescue, he already had his teeth pulled due to early dental disease. This doesn't slow him or his appetite down one bit! He is all around a happy guy! The only thing that Buffy does not love is sharing his food. If you are looking for a small companion, Snowfy is the way to go!

History: Lotus is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Lotus is a gentle and kind 7-year-old Shih Tzu who was subjected to unethical breeding for her whole life. Well, no more. She is now being bathed in love and compassion. Despite lack of care, she is sweet, loves people and great with other dogs. She is an A+ snuggler and an easier keeper. She is crate-trained and working hard on house-training. This will take some time knowing she was confined to a crate for so long. If you have love to give, and patience to see her through needed training, you have found your girl. She is the sweetest pup in town.
