10/23/24 We can't believe Roberta is still here. Someone, PLEASE give her a home of her own! Roberta is a 9 year old gold and white Shih Tzu weighing about 11 pounds. She came to us a year ago, and she likes to think she's in charge. This girlie loves to be out in the back fenced yard, monitoring the other dogs and the neighborhood. She likes to find a sunny spot to catch some sun, then moves to a cool spot to enjoy the breeze. She's still working on her house training and relaxing around people. Roberta gets along with the other dogs here and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She needs her own family that can help her learn all the secrets of being a family member in a home. LOCATED IN TROY, MO Saphire is a spicy little Shihtzu that can hold her own when the bigger puppies get a little rough! She has a beautiful coat with colors of lighter and darker brown and some black. Those colors will change as she ages. Saphire is a happy girl and loves everyone and everything! She loves to play and we would like to see her placed with a family that has kids or a dog that is young and playful! Saphire also loves people and likes to get under their feet making her a trip hazard for anyone with mobility problems. Saphire was treated for Giardia, a common parasite found in puppy mills. She has finished her treatment and her stools should be retested in 30 days. Saphire's adoption is $500. She is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Due to her young age she has not been spayed. A spay contract will be required. Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!

Location: Troy, MO Opal is a sweet fluffy little puppy weighing about 6 lbs and born in January. She loves to play with toys and other dogs and run around outside. She wants you all to know, that even though she is small, she will stand up for herself if you try to take her toy! Opal was born in a puppy mill and likely did not have the socialization that young puppies need. She will need a family that will enrich her life with positive experiences and build her confidence.
