She’s the kind of girl who would love a warm lap, a soft couch, and a forever family who will cherish her like the royalty she is. If you’re looking for a tiny, snuggly best friend to keep you warm and loved, Princess is ready to rule your heart. Their adoption fee is $800, plus an additional $50 that includes six months of heartworm prevention. Story
Tucker is a Shichon mix who just turned 14 years old on Dec 28, 2025. He is between 15-20lbs. We have a 5-year-old dog and a 1-year-old dog, and we think Tucker would be happier in a slower home without other pets or kids, unless they are older, as well. He is an anxious dog who prefers quiet time. He doesn't like to be picked up but wants to be near someone. We have not kept up with his shots, but he has been healthy. He still has some play in him when the other dogs aren't around which is another reason we think he may be happier without other pets around. We don't want money for him. We want him to find a loving and slower home, so he has less stress. Please reach out if you would like to meet him. We don't have a timeline but would like his surroundings to slow down sooner than later. Thank you for your consideration. Robin

He is crate trained and is still working on perfecting his potty training, but he is making good progress.Since arriving at Helping Strays, Buckwheat has really been enjoying the feeling of safety, comfort, and love. As he settles in, his sweet and happy personality continues to shine through. He would love a family that will keep encouraging him, playing with him, and giving him all the affection he deserves. Buckwheat is 12 years old and weighs 14 pounds.Location: Foster homeThe adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250.
