She came from a puppy mill and is just beginning to learn what life in a loving home is all about. Patti is currently learning to walk on a leash and is working on going potty outside as she adjusts to her new routine. A secure fenced yard will help her feel safe while she continues building confidence. She would enjoy having another friendly dog in the home to help show her the ropes and give her a buddy to play with. Car rides can make her nervous, so she does best when crated or safely seat-belted so she doesn’t try to hide. Because of her timid nature, Patti will need a calm home without small children and with patient, gentle people who will allow her to move at her own pace. With time, love, and understanding, Patti has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion. Story

Pepper, also known as “Puparoni,” is a 4-year-old boy with the cutest little face ever. Pepper is a very sweet boy who can be a little “spicy” at first, so slow and gentle introductions to new people and pets are important. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes a loyal companion who loves sitting in his foster’s lap and following them from room to room. He is kennel trained for meals, bedtime, and when his humans leave, he does great with his potty training with regular potty outings. Pepper absolutely loves treats and will even sit up and dance for them! He rides well in the car, enjoys pup cups, and is still learning how to play with toys. He gets along with other dogs with slow introductions and has shown little interest in the foster home’s cat. Pepper will need a home with a secure fenced yard and patient owners, as he can be a little nervous outside and should not be left out alone. Pepper would do best in a home with no young children. Pepper is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, had a dental, had a heart worm test, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Peppers adoption fee is $350.00. Sprout is a little over a year old and weighs just about 6 pounds—a tiny sweetheart who is happiest curled up exactly where she belongs: in your lap. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her just a few minutes and her personality quickly blooms. Before long she’ll be rolling over for tummy rubs and happily soaking up all the affection she can get. Sprout is house trained, cat friendly, and does well with other small dogs, though she hasn’t been around larger dogs yet. At bedtime she may give a tiny protest about going into her crate, but after a few minutes she settles in and relaxes. Sprout is missing her back left paw, but you’d never know it by the way she moves through the world—it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She zooms around the house, manages stairs like a champ, and easily hops on and off the couch or bed. When she’s not cuddling, Sprout enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, chewing on her favorite little bone, and spending much of her day snoozing like the professional napper she is. Small, resilient, and full of love, Sprout is ready to grow into someone’s perfect little companion. She loves playing ball, exploring by your side, and simply being near her people. Odie is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu, weighing 18 lbs. She's a gentle little lapdog who adores being close and offering quiet companionship They have received wonderful care by their human, and are spayed/neutered and up to date on veterinary care and grooming.
