Story
Figgy aka Figs is a calm, laid back boy who is content with sitting in your lap, laying in bed with you, laying beside you...in other words, being your best friend! He prefers to have you in his sight at all times. Figs is on a strict diet of prescription food (he's a little too fluffy) and his snacks are green beans and English peas. His ideal home would include a fenced in yard where he can meander around the yard at his leisure. The only time he gets in a hurry is when it's mealtime. He loves to bark at squirrels, leaves falling off the trees, bugs, just anything that catches his attention. An apartment would not be ideal for him since he can be quite vocal If you would like to add Figgy to your family, please go to goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.

Story
Romeo and Juliet were both street dogs, traveling everywhere together, looking for food and love. They were finally picked up by animal control in Georgia where they remained on a stray hold until they could be released. Animal control soon realized that Juliet was pregnant by Romeo so they called us to see if we could get them out of there before she gave birth. We had them immediately transported here to Tennessee and two weeks later she gave birth to 7 puppies. Sadly one was stillborn but the remaining 6 are all healthy happy babies who have all been adopted. Now it's Juliet's turn. She is crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and heart worm negative. Juliet is very high energy but extremely lovable. She is excellent with my 3 year old granddaughter and as you can see in the photo, fine with cats. Wouldn't you love to give her a loving and forever home! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION ADOPTION FEE $700

Story
You know they say GOOD THINGS come in two’s…well this pair of beautiful senior girls are absolutely the definition of that “saying”.  Pulled from a poor home with no running water nor electricity, Hazel and Sassy are at your beck and call.  This perfect little dynamic duo are 10 pounds or less, loving, great on the leash and they are joined for life in a forever bond.  They are the best little girls who are said to be Shih Tzu mixes and Sassy is about 5 years and Hazel is around 9-10 years old.  Sassy is the white and red girl and Hazel is the darker brindle girl with one eye.  They are healthy and completely vetted with bloodwork, all shots done, fecal and giardia test done, microchipped, spayed, heartworm test done and full exam.  They are quiet, house trained and they are the easiest little ladies you will ever meet.  They are NOT runners and they are just looking for a quiet, calm, content home to lay their head for the rest of their life. They are the REAL DYNAMIC DUO DEAL!   Contact us at Critter Cavalry Rescue at  ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 17, 2024, 10:21 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Presley and I'm a 1 y/o, female Shih Zu weighing in at almost 6 pounds. I was released from a commercial breeder and I am so happy to be learning how to live this new, wonderful life as a pet! Living in my foster home is really nice but now I'm on a mission to find my forever home. A little bit about me: I tend to be really shy around new people and in new situations so I'm looking for a family that will be patient with me at first while I get used to them and my new surroundings. Once I start to feel at home, watch out cause that's when my happy, fun loving personality really shines though! My foster mom says I'm the happiest pup she's ever had and my tail just never stops wagging. I'm especially happy when I'm around other dogs. I LOVE playing and snuggling with the resident pups in my foster home and I really hope my forever home has a pup or pups that will enjoy me as much as I enjoy them. I get along with all humans too but my ideal home would be one with no children or older, dog savvy kids that will be mindful of my tiny size. It would be awesome if my forever home had a fenced in yard for me to run around in but thats not a deal breaker for me because my foster mom has taught me how to go out to potty in the yard on a leash too. I'm fully potty trained by the way, but keep in mind that regression is normal in new environments until my routine is established. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and treated with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. I'm being fostered in Blandon, PA. If you're interested in adopting me, your family and your resident dogs must be willing to travel to my foster home to meet me. Are you ready to be part of my forever? If so, please apply online at zoeshouserescue.com Zoes House, Inc Kennel license # 9117 Po box 2372 Reading pa 19608

Story
Are you searching for the perfect lucky charm? Look no further, you've found her! Meet Clover, a three-year-old shih tzu/poodle mix. Clover is a sweet, friendly dog, and has puppy-level playfulness with none of the destruction! At only 14 lbs, she packs a lot of personality in her small frame! She loves to go for walks, play with her stuffed toys (and any scrunchies/socks her foster family leaves lying around), and snuggle with her family members. Clover is house trained, but some regression is expected when she is transitioning homes. She is friendly with other dogs, but would prefer a home where she can be the center of attention and get all of the affection her family can dole out! She loves respectful kids, but due to her petite size, and because she does not like to be squeezed, children in the family should be 8+. Clover loves cats... maybe more than they love her! She must have had feline friends before coming into rescue, because she likes to play with them. She will try to play 'chase' so her adopter would need to have a dog-friendly cat or a cat-free home. Clover considers herself a guard dog and likes to look out the window to let you know when visitors or packages are arriving. She follows her foster parents around the house and loves nothing more than to be with them. She will try to follow them out the door, so potential adopters will have to be careful she doesn't do so. School pickup is one of her favorite times of day, when she can see her kids and meet her canine neighborhood friends. She walks well on a leash, but prefers a harness over a collar. She also loves to run around her neighbor's fenced in backyard, so one in her adopter's home would be a plus, but not a requirement. She does not like to be crated, but is fine with gates. Clover prefers to be hand fed her food, or for her food to be placed directly on a silicone mat or plate vs. a bowl. She has a sensitive stomach, so new food and treats should be introduced slowly. Clover is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, heart worm negative and on preventatives, and has recently had a dental. Due to her fur, she will need to be brushed regularly and groomed every 6-8 weeks. Her adoption donation is $450. Do you have room in your home for the ultimate good luck charm? Apply today!
