He's fully house broken and sleeps all night in his crate. This little guy is very quiet and gentle, and takes his medication nicely. He's happy to relax on the floor by your feet, or snuggle next to you on the sofa. Waldo does nicely on the leash and enjoys short walks every day. He likes gentle pets and nuzzles while being held, and follows his foster all over the house. Waldo's perfect home will be a calm and mostly quiet environment, with a nurturing and attentive family who will embrace his medical needs and not leave him home alone often. He would do fine with children 12+ who respect his medical condition, but a household with young children is not advised. While he's not a dog that will play fetch or run around the yard with you, Waldo is the perfect guy if you're looking for a calm and gentle lap dog to be your companion.   Bandit is a 2- to 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a great personality.  (Look at that face!)  Even though he weighs only about 10 pounds, his love of life is huge!  He’s a very dapper fella, too, with his long white and tan coat and his tail that curls over his back.  He’s especially proud of that tail and tries to show it off whenever possible.  Although we aren’t sure how he is around small children, Bandit gets along well with other dogs as well as his foster’s cat. He's a terrific dog!  (posted 3/13/23, TN) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Dunkin born 12/17/23. A very sweet boy. He is a nice mix of calm and playful. He loves to sit on your lap. Playful but not hyper. He gets along well with everyone including children. Kyra born 12/15/23. She is a shih poo, but looks like a poodle. A very sweet girl. She is a nice mix of calm and playful. She loves to sit on your lap and cuddle. She was surrendered to rescue because she is older than 9 weeks and black. She just arrived. Grooming appointment is later this week. Located in the south.
